"Family vacation with young children; we made it work just fine. The cell service all around the lake is hit or miss, but the cabin had reliable WiFi. The association the cabin in is quiet, the private community beach and the view in NW Bay was great, and there was a playground as well for the kids. You’re only 2-3 mins North of Bolton Landing village (food, shops, small grocery, gas station). Around the corner is everything from the Sagamore to Up Yonda Farm to The Pinnacle. We cut out a day to spend in Lake George proper and take a Minnie-Ha-Ha cruise.Tom is a responsive host, so any questions you have will be taken care of."

"This was a great place to stay with our family of 4 in the Adirondacks. The lake was beautiful, and we spent most of our days fishing and swimming there. It is a very quiet community, and the condo was comfortable and well stocked. There is no central air conditioning, but there are 2 mobile units, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs, that are able to be directed at the different rooms and they were able to keep the space cool."

"This was a great rental serving as a base for exploring the Lake. The kitchen is well appointed and the bedrooms comfortable. This is one of the few rentals on the lake where you can dock your boat or jetski overnight. The portion of the lake in front of the marina is beautiful and you should definitely consider renting a boat from Dockside Marina if you don’t already have one. There is no beach on the property, but there is one down the street. We very much enjoyed our visit and will return."

"Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I really enjoyed the tour I received from the cart driver (I totaly forgot her name, but I do remember she met her husband there and has been volunteering there for many years) She has a passion for the place and after the tour I could see why. Grounds had everything you would need to make your overnight stay or week long stay memorable and relaxing. I was able to fish off the dock, watch the young adults play home run derby on the ball field and enjoy a great dinner at the restaurant. Was a little concerned about no TV and no AC in the room. Room was a little hot during the day, but with everything there is to do, why stay inside. Night time, I put the fan in the window, turned the ceiling fan on and slept like a baby. I was only there for 1 night, but would go back again. Maybe next time for a little longer."

"The property is certainly unique, but you have to know certain things before booking. It’s run more like an Air abnb than a hotel. There’s no formal check-in or check-out process. If you arrive before 5 PM the restaurant will be closed and there will be no one to assist you or answer any questions. There are only three rooms total and they’re all located upstairs above the restaurant. If you can’t get your own bags up the outdoor staircase this may not be the place for you. An access code gets you into the vestibule that houses the three rooms. There’s a funky key system for the rooms as well. All that being said it’s a hidden oasis down a dirt path smack in the middle of Bolton Landing. The room we had was spacious and well appointed, as was the bathroom with huge walk-in shower. Excellent water pressure as well, always a welcome treat. Although there are more dramatic views of the mountains and the lake from other vantage points, it feels very serene and tucked away. An added treat is the restaurant Chateau on the Lake. Fine dining with wonderful food, wine list, ambiance and staff—without the stuffiness."
