"Vilmblick 34" Holiday Home – covered patio, separate kitchen, and barrier-free comfort
The “Vilmblick 34” holiday home offers up to three guests a peaceful retreat with an unusually versatile layout and amenity concept. Spanning approximately 52 m², the home features a separate bedroom, a closed-off kitchen with a dining area, a living area, and a bathroom with its own sauna.
A covered terrace, garden views, and a private garden extend the home to include a sheltered outdoor area. The barrier-free and allergy-friendly amenities, along with a cot and a high chair, make this half of the holiday home—built in 2021—an attractive option for a variety of personal needs.
Sitting outside—even when the weather changes
A key feature of “Vilmblick 34” is the covered terrace. It offers a sheltered spot for meals, reading, and quiet breaks outdoors. Garden furniture is provided.
From the terrace, you can enjoy the view of the garden. A lawn provides additional open space and invites you to sunbathe and relax on warm days.
The name of the house refers to the Vilm. However, an explicitly guaranteed direct view of the island or the sea is not included among the listed features. The focus is on the garden view and the natural setting along the Greifswald Bodden.
Separate kitchen instead of an open kitchenette
Unlike many holiday homes in the resort, “Vilmblick 34” has a closed-off kitchen with its own dining table. This allows you to cook without cooking odours spreading directly into the living area.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, a stove, and a ceramic cooktop. This makes the kitchen well-suited for guests who wish to prepare their own meals during their stay, including more elaborate dishes.
Private living area with seating arrangement
The living room is designed as a separate lounge area. A sofa, an armchair, and a seating area provide various spots to relax, read, or watch TV.
There are a total of two TVs available in the holiday home. Free Wi-Fi and internet access are also included.
The physical separation between the kitchen and the living room creates distinct living areas and makes the house particularly comfortable for longer holidays.
Separate bedroom with raised beds
The holiday home features a separate bedroom with a closet. The beds are raised and have an open footboard. Blackout curtains ensure an undisturbed night’s sleep.
The bedroom floor is covered with linoleum. Additionally, the house is marketed as allergy-friendly. These features may be of particular interest to guests who prioritise easy-to-clean surfaces and a low-irritant environment when choosing their accommodation.
“Vilmblick 34” is designed to accommodate up to three people in total.
Private sauna for a relaxing holiday
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, mirror, and makeup mirror. In addition, a private sauna is available for your use.
After a trip to the beach, a bike ride, or a walk along the Bodden, you can warm up and relax here. The sauna makes the holiday home an attractive place to stay in all seasons.
The holiday home does not have its own washing machine or dryer. Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are available for shared use in the main building. A clothes rack is also available for use.
Accessible and conveniently located
The “Vilmblick 34” is one of the few barrier-free accommodation in the holiday village. The layout of the rooms minimises distances and makes the stay easier for guests who wish to avoid stairs.
The designation “low-barrier” does not mean that the accommodation is fully accessible or unrestrictedly wheelchair-accessible. Individual needs should therefore be checked before booking.
Family-friendly amenities
Children and babies are welcome. A cot and a high chair are available for the youngest guests. Youth groups are also welcome to use the holiday home.
The private garden and lawn offer additional opportunities to spend time outdoors. The holiday home is a smoke-free property.
Pets, specifically dogs, are not permitted at this property.
Beach, Sea, and Bodden Landscape
The natural beach and the sea are each about 600 metres away. You can walk there; a handcart is available for beach bags and other items.
The Greifswald Bodden is located in the immediate vicinity. The area around Klein Stresow is ideal for walks, bike rides, and birdwatching. Kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding are also possible.
Parking and EV Charging Stations
A free parking space is reserved for the holiday home. A total of three shared charging stations for electric vehicles are available in the holiday village. Use of these stations is subject to a fee, which is calculated based on the length of your stay. You must bring your own compatible vehicle charging cable.
Access to the holiday village is via a natural, unpaved road. Please drive at walking speed only.
If you’re travelling by train, you can arrange a shuttle from the Putbus train station to Klein Stresow for a small fee.
Bread roll service, café, and farm stand
A bread roll service makes your holiday breakfast easier. At Café Klein Stresow, which has an attached farm store, you can also enjoy hot and cold drinks, light meals, snacks, homemade cakes, ice cream, and speciality coffees. Various regional products round out the selection.
The holiday village remains intentionally quiet even over the New Year’s holiday and celebrates a fireworks-free New Year’s Eve.
