"Strandflieder 05" Holiday Home – Relaxing Days with a South-Facing Terrace, table grill, and private sauna

Breakfast in the sun, a meal together on the terrace, followed by a walk to the natural beach: The “Strandflieder 05” holiday home is designed for relaxing outdoor getaways. This modern half of a holiday home is located in the holiday village of Klein Stresow on Rügen’s south coast, in the heart of the biosphere reserve and near the Greifswald Bodden.

Built in 2021, the 61 m² house accommodates up to four people. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms provide a comfortable layout for families, couples, or friends travelling together. Children are especially welcome.

Nordic style and a bright living area

The holiday home’s interior features a modern, Nordic design. Carefully selected furniture, artwork, and lamps create a harmonious overall look. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring plenty of natural light into the living area and provide a direct connection to the south-facing terrace and the garden.

The open-concept living and dining room features a sofa with an ottoman. Here, guests can relax after a day at the beach, a bike ride, or an excursion around the island. A fireplace provides extra cosiness on cooler evenings. A flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi are available for entertainment.

The dining table seats four. It’s perfect for shared meals, game nights, or planning your next outing.

Open kitchen with various options for making coffee

The modern kitchen is open to the living and dining areas and equipped with high-quality appliances. A complete set of dishes is stored in the cabinets, and a dishwasher takes care of the cleanup after cooking.

For coffee lovers, the house offers a variety of coffee makers. This way, you can start your holiday mornings exactly as you like. Upon arrival, kitchen towels are provided in addition to bath towels.

South-facing terrace with tabletop grill

The floor-to-ceiling windows open directly onto the south-facing terrace. This offers a pleasant spot for breakfast, a break in the fresh air, or a dinner together. Garden furniture is provided for guests.

A tabletop grill is available for preparing meals outdoors. This allows you to host a barbecue right on the terrace. The adjacent private garden expands the outdoor area and offers space for relaxing and playing.

Flexible sleeping arrangements for four guests

The first bedroom is furnished with a box-springdouble bed measuring 1.80 × 2.10 metres. The second bedroom features two single box-spring beds, each measuring 90 × 200 centimetres.

This layout is suitable for both parents with children and for guests who prefer separate beds. Both bedrooms feature a closet and their own flat-screen TV.

Two bathrooms and a Finnish sauna

The holiday home has two bathrooms, each with a shower and a toilet. This makes it easy to start the day comfortably, even when the cottage is occupied by four people.

The ground-floor bathroom also features a private Finnish sauna. After an active day on Rügen, guests can relax here in peace and quiet. The sauna is part of this half of the holiday home and does not need to be shared with other guests.

The beds are already made upon arrival. Towels and kitchen towels are also provided. In addition, guests can look forward to a small welcome gift from the hosts.

Shared coin-operated machines in the main house

There is no washing machine or dryer located directly in the holiday home. Both machines are available for shared use in the main house and are coin-operated. This means you can wash and dry your laundry even during a longer stay.

Quiet Location in the Biosphere Reserve

The Klein Stresow holiday village is situated in a water-rich and natural setting on the southern coast of Rügen. The holiday home is situated in the heart of the biosphere reserve, offering the perfect setting for guests seeking peace and nature.

The Greifswald Bodden is in the immediate vicinity. The surrounding area can be explored on walks and bike rides. Kayaking and SUP excursions are also listed as possible activities on the property’s website.

About 600 metres to the natural beach

A natural beach is located about 600 metres from the holiday home and is within walking distance. After returning from the water, guests can wind down the day in the garden, on the south-facing terrace, in front of the fireplace, or in their own sauna.

Unpaved access road and free parking space

The access road to the holiday village runs along an unpaved, natural road. Vehicles must travel at walking speed only. A reserved parking space is available free of charge for guests’ vehicles.

Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles

There are a total of three charging stations for electric cars in the holiday village. They are shared by all holiday guests and are not assigned to any specific holiday home. There is a fee for use; the amount depends on the length of stay.

Since no charging cable is provided, you must bring your own compatible cable. Depending on availability, you may need to share the charging station with other holidaymakers.

Shuttle from Putbus

For guests arriving by train, a shuttle from the Putbus train station to the holiday village can be arranged for a small fee. This means the holiday home is accessible even if you’re travelling without your own car.

Café Klein Stresow and Farm Store

Café Klein Stresow and its farm store are located right in the holiday village. It offers hot and cold drinks, fresh rolls for breakfast, light meals and snacks, homemade cakes, ice cream, speciality coffees, and regional products.

Firework-Free New Year’s Eve

Within the resort, the New Year is celebrated without fireworks. The holiday village thus offers a fireworks-free New Year’s Eve for guests who wish to ring in the new year in a quieter setting.
