"Huus Waterkant 18" Holiday Home – Ocean View, Sauna, and Table Grill for Four Guests

Ocean views while dining, in the garden, and on the patio: “Huus Waterkant 18” is a modern half of a holiday home for up to four people with an unobstructed view of the sea. From the living and dining area, guests have step-free access to the garden and the south-facing terrace.

Spanning 60 m², the cottage features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open-concept living area. A private Finnish sauna, a fireplace, and an electric tabletop grill round out the amenities. This makes the holiday home the perfect setting for spending time together on holiday, no matter the season.

Unobstructed ocean view from the private garden

“Huus Waterkant 18” is located in the holiday village of Klein Stresow on Rügen’s south coast. Its special charm lies in the combination of a private outdoor area and an unobstructed ocean view.

The garden and the south-facing terrace are directly accessible from the living and dining areas. The transition to the outdoors is seamless. Whether you’re having breakfast, sharing a dinner, or taking a break on the patio furniture, you’ll always have a view of the water.

Scandi-Chic on the Greifswald Bodden

This half of the holiday home, newly built in 2021, is furnished in a Scandi-Chic style. Furniture, lamps, and artwork come together to create a harmonious overall look and give the rooms a modern, Nordic-inspired atmosphere.

Floor-to-ceiling windows bring plenty of natural light into the living area. At the same time, they offer a view of the garden and the sea.

A living space for spending time together

The living area features a sofa with an ottoman. Here, guests can relax after a day at the beach, a bike ride, or an excursion around the island.

A fireplace provides cosiness on cooler evenings. The space also features a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi.

The dining table seats four people. The unobstructed ocean view enhances not only time spent in the garden but also meals enjoyed indoors.

Cooking and Grilling

The open kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality appliances. A complete set of dishes is stored in the cabinets. A dishwasher takes care of the cleanup after meals.

As a special extra, an electric tabletop grill is provided. It can be used both for preparing meals together and on the terrace. This way, when the weather is nice, you can move dinner outside and enjoy the ocean view.

South-facing terrace with patio furniture

The terrace faces south and offers space for breakfast, a coffee break, or dinner. Garden furniture is provided for guests.

The step-free transition from the living and dining area makes it easy to go outside. The adjacent private garden provides additional space for relaxing and playing. Children are welcome at “Huus Waterkant 18.”

Bedrooms with different bed configurations

The first bedroom features a box springdouble bed with a sleeping surface measuring 1.80 × 2.00 metres.

The second bedroom is furnished with two single box-spring beds. Both beds measure 90 × 200 centimetres each. This layout is particularly suitable for families as well as for guests who prefer separate sleeping arrangements.

Both bedrooms each have a closet and their own flat-screen TV.

Two bathrooms

This half of the holiday home includes two bathrooms. Both are equipped with a shower and a toilet. This allows four guests to comfortably split between the two bathrooms in the morning or after a day by the water.

The ground-floor bathroom also features a private Finnish sauna.

Private-use sauna

The sauna belongs exclusively to “Huus Waterkant 18” and does not need to be shared with other guests at the holiday village.

After a walk along the Greifswald Bodden or a bike ride, you can start by enjoying the sauna. Afterwards, the living area and the fireplace provide a cosy setting for the evening.

The beds are already made upon your arrival. Towels are also provided.

Laundry facilities in the main house

There is no washing machine or dryer in the holiday home. Both machines are available in the main house as coin-operated machines for shared use.

Natural beach nearby

The holiday home is about 600 metres from the natural beach. You can walk there. A handcart is available for towels, beach bags, and other items.

The Greifswald Bodden is also in the immediate vicinity. The water-rich surroundings are perfect for walks and bike rides, as well as kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.

Nature-friendly access road

The holiday village is accessed via an unpaved, natural road. Vehicles may only travel at walking speed on this road.

A reserved parking space is available free of charge for guests’ vehicles.

Shared Charging Stations

There are a total of three charging stations for electric cars in the holiday village. They are not assigned to any specific holiday home and are shared among all guests.

There is a fee for their use. The fee is calculated based on the length of your stay. You must bring your own car charging cable.

Shuttle from the Putbus Train Station

Guests arriving by train can arrange for a shuttle from the Putbus train station to the holiday village for a small fee. This means that “Huus Waterkant 18” is accessible even without your own vehicle.

Café and Farm Store

The Café Klein Stresow with its farm store is located right in the holiday village. It offers hot and cold drinks, fresh rolls, light meals and snacks, homemade cake, ice cream, and speciality coffees. Regional products are also available.

Fireworks-Free New Year’s Eve

The New Year is celebrated in the holiday village without fireworks. Guests can thus spend New Year’s Eve in a quieter atmosphere with a view of the water.
