"The room needed vacuumed. It had sand all over it and dirt when you first walked in on the hardwood floor. The balcony could’ve used some cleaning. It was unusually dirty. Other than that, not a bad experience considering it’s on the beach and on the lake. I just don’t understand why the rooms aren’t cleaner."

"The grounds were maintained, however the , we paid for a jacuzzi sweet, but the tub would not plug, did not realize that until we came back to the room that first night, very disappointing as there was no one there to fix it.They do not put coffee pot`s in the room, guests have to go to the lobby, and PAY $4.00 per cup., REALLY!! The bathroom floor was dirty when we walked in, shower was cleanish, but, caulking around the inside shower, seemed to have had mold. The beds are extremely high, but comfortable.. The outdoor pool and hot tub were nice.. The Tiki bar was great, the bartender was very sociable, did his job well. We reserved this for 2 nights, but were not able to leave, We went down to reserve for Saturday night as well,. We had to change rooms, understandable, but we were put on the second floor, which was not a problem, but once again, the shower in this one ,was worse. Missing grout around outside shower tiles, caulking and shower seals were nasty, like it was never cleaned. beds were the same as first room. Well, then, ice machine. across our room, OUT OF ORDER!!. The HEAT/Air unit was very noisy. The toilet had a dripping sound,, which we could not figure out.Got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, The toilet handle fell right of the toilet.. I did not stay there to continually have to have maintenance come clean or fix things. We paid a lot of money for this room, and what a disappointment it was."

"We had a wonderful time on the island. We would’ve liked to know that the pools weren’t filled with water and the jacuzzi was not hot. Also the property was under construction and we weren’t made aware. We also were locked out of the property the first night we arrived and had to call the night person who showed up promptly but it was early in the night 9pm. Rooms were clean and the rest of the stay was nice."

"The room was clean. So all in all that was a plus. This hotel is very close to cedar point and is relatively reasonably priced. We booked here along with friends to utilize the outdoor pool area after soccer games which is beautiful. The pool was closed for no apparent reason. It looked beautiful and we called the day before just to check and they said yes it's open. So that was a huge let down.they did offer a pass to drive to hotel Breakers to use their pool. There is no breakfast at all. There is no coffee to purchase or for free. Would I stay here again, possibly."

"Great place, great location to “downtown”. Had a ton of fun with a large group of ladies! The house has everything you need! We recommend the Put In Bay Rolling Pub and PIB Winery. Beware that the layout of the house is a little wonky. One of the bathrooms is connected to a bedroom that can only be accessed by walking through another bedroom, so if privacy is a concern, something to think about. Additionally, the house sits very close to another house that gives off strange vibes."

"We liked the location of the hotel. Though the room was very small it had everything we needed. The only issue was the white towels. All were in very poor condition, stained and torn. The bed was very firm to where it was so hard we tossed and turned. We realize others may like that. Not ours."
