Cosy Two Bedroom Guesthouse in Tranquil Puriri, Thames

Enjoy a cosy, *2 bedroom private guesthouse, with accompanying West facing deck with views across the peaceful Hauraki Plains countryside.
Relax on the deck with a beer or wine, after exploring the areas bush walks, beaches, and more!

Puriri is approximately 1hr 20mins South of Auckland.

*The guesthouse can comfortably accommodate up to 3 people. The Base Rate is for 1-2 guests staying in main bedroom. An additional $30 per night applies to 1 guest requiring use of the 2nd bedroom, (applies to children of all ages).

Things to do and explore nearby and beyond;:

Hauraki Rail Trail is 2 mins down the road.

There is the beautiful Kauaeranga Kauri Trail in Thames with streams, native bush, and magnificent Kauri trees.

The Pinnacles Walk located in Coromandel Forest Park is very popular for those up for a challenge - 40 minute drive from Puriri. There are spectacular views of the Coromandel Peninsula from the Pinnacles.

The beautiful Karangahake Gorge is a 25min drive away - offering short to longer bush walks/hikes. With the Waikino Pub and the Falls Retreat near the parking areas here offering excellent food.

Stunning Coromandel East Coast beaches from a 40 minute drive - take your pick - Waihi, Whangamata, Whiritoa, Tairua, Pauanui, HaHei (sometimes referred as Hot Water Beach), and Cathedral Cove.

Te Aroha Mineral Spa is well worth a visit in Te Aroha which is only 30mins away. You can book a natural, warm mineral private indoor spa or enjoy the outdoor mineral pool and/or outdoor spa pool. A wonderful experience in the cooler months to relax and de-stress.

Our closest townships for supermarket and general shopping and dining out are Thames - 12 minute drive and Paeroa is 18 minutes away.

Overall everything was excellent, the accommodation was excellent and the layout was beautiful. The Host's were very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this place and the only sad part was we only stayed 1 night. We would certainly go back and a huge thank you to Leah and Nick.

Accommodation was beautifully clean. Loved the little extras left for us - banana bread, eggs, and breakfast goodies.Host was very accommodating for us to leave our luggage with her earlier in the day so we could start our Hauraki Bike Trail at Kaiaua and ride back to Puriri.Would definitely recommend

Absolutely first class bookabach. Very well appointed and tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. Careful attention paid by charming host, Leah, to the fine details that make a stay a pleasure - from homemade organic muesli and other food treats, to quality bed linen and of course cleaniness above reproach. Located in a quiet street just minutes south of Thames - a great base to retire to after a day exploring the town and countryside.
