There was someone sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the hotel when we arrived and there really isn’t much to offer in the area. We only stopped for the night to catch the ferry the next day and thought that there would be more to see. "

"I knew this place wasn't going to be great but I didn't expect it to be this bad. I was traveling with my three daughters and the door to our ground floor unit wouldn't properly lock. The inside has moldy ceilings, broken things in the kitchen, filthy bathroom, the knob to the hot water in the shower was completely gone. The AC couldn't keep up so we were sweating all night. Then in the middle of the night the loudest DJ/pool music came on to wake us up. It happened three times between 2-4 am even after I repeatedly asked the front desk to solve the issue. When we got there they said the pool was closed (at 5pm?) but someone was loudly swimming later for over an hour. It was a quick night stopover on our road trip but we left miserable and tired and uncomfortable. We are pretty flexible travelers and stay in cheap places regularly but this was awful. "
