"The room was a disappointment given the price point. The sliding glass door on one-side was shattered, one of the bathroom windows was also broken, the left sliding glass door wouldn’t lock and or close ( eventually fixed) the sofa and comforter cover were both stained. I felt that my complaints were met with frustration by the front desk staff. I actually considered leaving for $473 a night I was frustrated all solutions were a take away, we-booked an ocean view with a king bed, we were offered 2 doubles garden view. The positive was the food and bar manager that listened and at least offered us a free dinner! Most of the team were exceptional "

"For the money, Brisa Oceano is a great place to stay in Placencia. Very close to pretty much everything Placencia has to offer (including municipal pier and tours), very friendly, accomodating staff, good tap water, great water pressure, beach, free kayaks, and more. There were some issues with the room itself (doorstops in bad places, tight quarters in some areas) but overall, Brisa Oceano was great."

"We love this 2bedroom apartment! Great for trips with friends or family. Outside and inside seating for meals. Close walk to restaurants and the village. The pool is nice and intimate. We love the proximity to the palapa over the water- see sunsets and sunrises, waters are clear enough to see fish and starfish. Kitchen equipped with all kinds of cooking utensils so you can cook if you like. Big master bath shower. Close proximity to placencia airport. We love this apt and location!"

"Our cabana had 2 beds, for 3 persons cabana #3. Description was real and honest, A/C worked and helped with the bar noise. The beach was taken care of, clean, all recommendations were spot on and appreciated. The cabana did not have the second doors with the net only. The water pressure in the shower seemed weak, but it was enough even to wash my long hair, so no problem. We would appreciate more hooks on the walls or a stool to put our suitcase on. We had amazing 3 nights!"

"We met friends from the opposite coast for a week at this lovely home. The host, house assistant/maid, yard/pool man, and chef were a dream! Communication was immediate while we were down there and fluid prior to. People were so unbelizably nice! We felt safe and so relaxed. Each of the three rooms felt private and the sane luxury as the other. We enjoyed the views from the roof, the temperatures of the pool and hot tub. One of our friends fly fished from the water off the beach snd caught 3 barracuda. My husband and I kayaked in the lagoon off the front of the property and found a 4.5 foot boa in the cool mangroves! We loved it. We had massages in the house. Plus we loved being recommended to use Captain Jaks for tours. We did 3 day tours with them and wanted more!!! Our gold cart rental helped us easily get anywhere for dinners or running to a store. We are already planning our return with our kids. We are grateful for the stunning home and the amazing service!"

"I cannot begin to describe the incredible experience we had staying at the Starfish Villa in Placencia. The house itself was incredibly beautiful, clean and spacious, fully equipped, and the location was perfect. Paul and Gail could not have been more responsive and helpful taking care of our every need. We will be back for sure."
