Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Punta Prima?
The best area to stay in Punta Prima is along the beachfront, particularly near the main commercial centre off Calle Escorpiones.

This area offers direct access to the main beach and the popular coastal promenade. You'll find a good selection of restaurants, cafes, and shops within easy walking distance. The commercial centre itself is a compact area with a supermarket and various services, making it very convenient for daily needs.

For families, staying close to the beach is ideal. The main beach at Punta Prima is well-maintained and offers clear waters, great for children to play. Many of the accommodations here are apartments, providing more space and facilities like kitchens, which are very useful for family holidays. The promenade offers pleasant walks and easy access to other coves.

Couples looking for a relaxing break will also appreciate the beachfront area. The ability to stroll to dinner along the coast, enjoy a drink with sea views, and have the beach right on your doorstep provides a comfortable and stress-free holiday experience.
When is the best time to go to Punta Prima?
The best time to go to Punta Prima is during the shoulder seasons, specifically May to June and September to October.

These months offer a lovely balance of warm weather, pleasant for beach activities and exploring, without the intense heat and larger crowds of the peak summer months (July and August). You'll find the sea is warm enough for swimming, and the evenings are comfortable for dining al fresco.

For those looking for a relaxing beach holiday, May and June are ideal. The days are long and sunny, great for enjoying the beautiful Blue Flag beaches like Cala Ferris and La Zenia, which are just a short drive away. You can easily spend your mornings by the sea and your afternoons exploring the local shops and restaurants without feeling overwhelmed by too many people.

Couples seeking a peaceful getaway will particularly appreciate September and October. The summer rush has subsided, making it easier to secure reservations at popular eateries and enjoy the coastal walks along the promenade between Punta Prima and La Zenia.
