  • Amazing location! Directly off I-75 and minutes from downtown Punta Gorda, all while on a lovely SALTWATER CANAL! Sarasota and Tampa are to the north, Ft. Meyers, Naples and Miami to the south. Shopping & restaurants all nearby. This simple cottage is nicely appointed and offers boaters direct (no bridges) Gulf access via Charlotte Harbor. Manatees, dolphin and fish frequent our canal. Fish or boat from our seawall. Offers a quiet & convenient place to relax during your visit to the area. You can rent or bring your own boat, kayak, or jet ski or let someone else do the driving and hop on a sunset cruise in a floating tiki hut or traditional boat. Pickelball? PicklePlex is one of the best facilities in Florida and just minutes away. Golf, tennis and shuffleboard all nearby. When you visit The Northshore Cottage, the options are endless- you can even sit back, relax and do nothing, while enjoying the water views, sunny weather and wildlife, in and around our Charlotte Harbor--the Tarpon fishing capital of the world!

Christmas get away

The Punta Gorda property was a great value for our Christmas get away. The location is very good with easy access to activities and amenities. Being located on a dead end street made it quiet and the canal behind was nice to relax by. The house was as described, well equipped and a good layout.

Bring the Boat

Home sits on canal that gives access to the Peace River or Charlotte Harbor . Only takes a minute or two to idle ( 22' Pathfinder w/200hp )into the river from the back yard . Had a wonderful time fishing , cruising and sight- seeing the river . O ya the cottage, LOL. It was nice, clean, and had what we needed. Tons of restaurants near bye . Stayed 5 nights , wish it was more .

Great home away from home.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Everything was clean, neat and very roomy for the 4 of us. Loved having 2 1/2 baths! Convenient location to all sorts of shopping, restaurants and activities. Our hostess, September, was great with communicating and making sure our stay was awesome. Thank you again!

Hidden Gem

Highly recommend booking this place if available. Very well taken care of home. Home has an open concept living room into kitchen. Home is located on a dead end road so traffic is no problem. It is also just a few minutes off the interstate but far enough away that you can't hear the traffic. Home is positioned within a reasonable travel time to so many attractions and restaurants. I've saved this one for a future revisit.

Clean cottage. Tv streaming only internet line cut. Couldn’t use backyard.description misleading . It was in a neighborhood, couldn’t see the harbor or get to it.no curtains in a very important area.

Charlotte Harbor Charmer

Everything about the property was as advertised, and better. Host September was helpful and super responsive to our needs. The house is immaculately clean, nicely appointed, and very well organized. We felt right at home and comfortable from the moment we entered. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood that felt very safe. One can tell that the owners take great care, with pride, to provide a pleasant stay for their guests. As a couple we found the home to be right-sized for us, and it will easily accommodate another couple. We will definitely book here again if we ever return to the area. We could not be more pleased with the experience we had in September’s home. It is a real gem! Oh, and the bird watching from the back patio was superb! Without reservation I highly recommend Charlotte Harbor Cottage!
