Perfect location - Amazing view of the entire vineyards from the balcony and was so peaceful and scenic. Only one walking trail within easy access of the hotel, but was good enough for us. Maybe our fault, but the exterior photo implies that there is an infinity pool overlooking the vineyards. Turns out it is a small water trough at the restaurant in front.

Simple clean rooms set in the vineyards

Beautifully set up in the vineyards. The rooms are simple but clean. Friendly service and helpful staff. The breakfast overlooking the vineyards is wonderful.

Excellent check-in. All dining options seem to be across the road and down steep steps (I am disabled so no use). Fortunately there are a few restaurants close to hotel. Accommodation excellent.

I was traveling with a friend and wanted to see the Lavaux vineyards. This hotel is in an excellent location! Small, upscale hotel with gorgeous views! We did not have breakfast or dinner at the hotel, walked to town. Short walk to train station. If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely stay here again! The most comfortable bed ever!

Amazing Lake & Vinyard view

In overall, this is the Best Hotel during my 6 weeks European vacation. We reserved regular room with lake view and Hotel gave us free upgraded Deluxe Room. The fantastic view from balcony was speechless and caused us to come back to stay another night on the way back. Hotel has a beautiful spa with very reasonable rate (€15/ hour) & plenty of free parking spaces. I want to say special thanks to Walter & Thelma. ^^ We really enjoyed to stay~

The hotel looked digested than what it look in thenoictures. the room was also quite small and the view even thiugh it was advertised partial of lake did not had the same impact since it was away from the bed and the immediate face was the garden! the ciew from the breakfast restaurant was good but the breakfast itself was not so good. wet scrambled eggs :( But the staff themselves were very good both in restaurants and the reception very helpeful and made your stay easier. The best thing aniut thisnolace was possibly the jacuzzi spa :)

At 300 Swiss Francs for a very basic room: no air conditioning, no dressing gowns, no slippers, no spare pillows, no toiletries except for the basics we were very disappointed. When we arrived after a long walk and were clearly very hot on a 32 degrees day in July we weren't even offered a welcome drink let alone a simple galss of tap water. It then transpired that if we wanted to use the swimming pool it would cost us an additional cost of 15 Swiss Franc for just one hour. This in Chexbres which is just a small town in Lavaux. We got all of the above in a beautiful hotel in Laussane, right on the lake front including the unlimited use of a swimming pool. The meal we had in the restaurant was however wonderful. Marine and Bastien were superb in their service and the food was exquiste.I feel that that the hotel relies on the restaurant's reputation to over-inflate their prices and provide mediocre service.

The hotel has a stunning view and I had longer planned to stay there but I was greatly disappointed! The interior of the hotel, including lobby and reception, are old and worn out, the rooms are small, with mediocre decoration, small bathroom and shower very small! Few and poorly located electric plugs and switches that didn’t make sense (you had to have the main switch to the ceiling lamp located by the main door on in order for all the bed lamps and electric plugs to work!!!). The restaurant, the only part that looked very modern and stunning view were full and not even hotel guests could eat there! overall rather overpriced for such a poor hotel. It is more like a 3* hotel.

We had a fabulous stay and highly recommend this property. The staff was very nice and incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room was large and had a beautiful view and balcony (and air conditioning!). It is in a quiet area (which we appreciated) but within walking distance into town. There is an easy bus system to navigate to get to other parts of Amalfi and the hotel has a shuttle in Praiano. Breakfast was plentiful with a lot of options. The pool was nice to dip in after a long day in the sun.

L’hôtel est d’une grande propriété, le personnel est d’une gentillesse. On a voulu manger au restaurant le soir et c’était complet mais le personnel de la terrasse on tout fait et nous ont trouvé une place et on a pu profiter de la vue magnifique sur les vignobles et le lac Leman. Les lits sont très confortables et la vue est magique. Je recommande cet hôtel même si le restaurant est un peu cher mais vaut vraiment le coup pour la qualité de la nourriture et la vue ..

Le Baron Tavernier est un bel établissement, très bien situé avec une vue sur les montagne et des vignes, le panorama est magnifique. L' hôtel complète les prestations et services à la hauteur de l'établissement, petit bémol dans notre chambre , la robinetterie de la salle de bain un peu délabrée et la séparation pas très discrète de la chambre contiguë par une simple porte Nous avons apprécié le massage, également le service en restauration assuré par '' Marine''

Magnifique vue sur le lac. Le personnel est insuffisant : une seule personne fait des allers-retours entre le spa et la réception. L’hôtel aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement, car il fait très vieux. Aucune trousse de toilette n’est mise à disposition ; au vu du prix de la chambre, je pense que des pantoufles ainsi que quelques cotons-tiges ou disques de coton ne seraient pas de trop. Sinon, la chambre était très propre.

La suite vue lac est très belle et grande et le lit très confortable. En revanche, l'eau chaude de la douche/baignoire met énormément de temps à arriver au point que nous avons cru qu'il y avait une panne. Les murs sont mal isolés et nous avons beaucoup été dérangés par les bruits de nos voisins. C'est dommage car le cadre est somptueux.

Das Restaurant bietet am Abend hervorragendes Essen, das Frühstück war hingegen enttäuschend: wenig Auswahl, viel offensichtlich einfache Industrieware, abgepackte Marmelade etc. Es gab kein Gemüse wie bspw. frische Gurke o.ä. Spabereich nicht genutzt.

Angenehmes Hotel, freundlicher Service, unübertreffbarer Blick auf den Lac Leman und angrenzende Berge sowie Rebberge. Nahe zu Lausanne und Vevey.
