A few days prior to your arrival, we had a category 4 storm that did a lot of damage in the local area. The damage included the telephone service in our area. Our credit card terminal operates on the telephone line service. So we were not able to make charges on your credit card for your reservation stay. The only option was for us to deny your stay or request that you pay in cash. We could not allow for you to stay for free

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Armonia. The staff was especially friendly and helpful and my room and the grounds are beautiful. A quick walk down the hill takes you to the beach where you can catch a water taxi to many other gorgeous beaches. It’s also a quick walk to the Boca de Tomatlan trail head which is a must do hike that happens upon several secluded beaches before arriving at Las Animas where all the action is. I would definitely stay again 😊

Quiet town with beautiful views.
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was easy to get to off of the main road going into Boca de Tomatlán. If you want to stay in Boca to visit Quimixto or Yelapa, this is a nice place to stay to beat the rush of people from PV. The view from our hotel was amazing. If it wasn’t for the clouds, we would have had an amazing sunset from our balcony (in March). I recommend walking down to town for some tacos and cafe de olla for breakfast. We didn’t see any evidence of the provided breakfast.

Great views, spectacular property. The hosting family were very sweet and accommodating. It is an excellent place to visit the Botanical Gardens, they are close. It would be good to bring some snacks or breakfast foods.

Gorgeous place stayed 3 nights. First night a jucuzzi motor ran all night. Next morning screw head popped off shower. No hot water. Was told It would be fixed that day. Didn’t happen. We got moved night 2. Water got fixed but employee told us incorrect information on how to work it. Restaurant so so for breakfast. Server mixed up food on three out of three tables. Bianca suite is beautiful if everything works. Beautiful balcony. Really breathtaking. Manager should have bought us a bottle of wine or offered us a free breakfast. No go. Won’t be back.

Unfortunately some guest are unable to operate simple things. The shower water handle has a hot and cold side to it. The guest complain that only cold water came out, and I personally went and turned the handle the other way to the hot side, and the guest response was " well no body told me thats the way it works " The Jacuzzi motor could have been turned off with just pressing a button. We gave the guest an upgrade suite " the Master Suite " Non the less this was not satisfactory to the guest. Breakfast was complementary, but still not good enough for the guest. I don't think that a free bottle of wine would have help this guest attitude , gratitude , or appreciation

When we arrived at the property we were greeted by Frank and shown to our room. The main pool was extremely dirty and Frank explained this by saying that the maintenance guy did not show up that day. I then had a shower which resulted in a flooded bathroom. This was quickly attended to by the staff who mopped up the mess but left the saturated shower mats and towels on the floor. We then went out for dinner and returned about two hours later. Another shower attempt resulted in another flooded bathroom floor. A third attempt in the morning and another flooded bathroom was just too much for what is advertised as 5 star accommodation so we decided to leave and find alternative accommodation. We both work in the hospitality sector and appreciate that things can go wrong. However, Frank responded by questioning my integrity and not accepting responsibility for the poor quality of product/ service that we were offered. He did this on a repeated basis from the safety of his keyboard and did not take me up on my offer to meet him face to face. He even denied the third bathroom flooding even though I took photos to illustrate. A terrible experience and I will not be back or recommend to others. Things can go wrong but if you do not have the courage and respect of your guests to admit the shortcomings then you rank pretty low in my character assessment. Frank even attempted to address his staff in front of us which was extremely embarrassing to say the least. Enough said!

This property is amazing for a romantic getaway. A beautiful mansion perched on a cliff in a bay, with a small authentic fishing village below. The owners are super nice and helpful, and we had a very spacious private suit with 180deg views. The room was like a presidential suite on a luxurious cruise ship. We enjoyed wandering down to the village and having some authentic tacos with some roosters running around. Overall, everything was perfect. On one hand, I highly recommend this place, but on the other hand, I want it all to myself and don't want other people to find out about it lol. Definitely going back to spend quality time with my wife.

Luxury in Boca
Luxurious Villa!! The view from our room, the panoramic suite, was stunning! The suite was gorgeous- super comfy king bed , and the bathroom!! Well the view from the bathroom was equally spectacular. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub- the gardens and outdoor area was lovely. The included breakfast buffet had a good variety and delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This villa is a def return for us, we only stayed for one night- definitely not long enough. We visit Puerto Vallarta each year and this year decided to do a few nights in the surrounding areas as well, so glad we did. Boca de Tomatlan is a lovely village and only about 1/2 hr from PV, by bus or water taxi- both are easy.

Amazing property with amazing views, I got the master bedroom and it was over 1800 square feet. Perfect for couples or honeymoon, not recommeded for families with small children, unless you are planning to be running after them. The pools are deep and there is a lot of stairs in and out.

Aside from the perfect weather of Mexico, the Villa Armonia was truly a place of tranquility, beauty and relaxation. Waking up to the breathtaking backdrop of the surrounding mountains and the Pacific Ocean, laying by the pool amongst the lush landscape, a 20 minute taxi/bus ride to downtown PV are just a few great things worth experiencing at this hotel. What really made a difference was the exceptional hospitality of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms and grounds and of course Maria and Frank. Throughout our stay, we were more then just guests at the hotel, they made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to acommodate our requests and make us feel at home. Villa Armonia is a special place because you feel exclusive. You don't have to contend with the busy atmosphere you get at larger hotel/resorts. There is no rushing to get a spot anywhere whether it be on a lounger by the pool or a table at breakfast, its always there waiting for you. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and prepare to be amazed. The hotel is perfectly situated near attractions and fantastic restaurants like Le Cliffe just down the street. We will definately be coming back here!

La villa tiene habitaciones que tienen cocinas, y habitaciones que no tienen cocina. Usted pagó por una habitación que no tiene cocina. Usted nunca nos pidió que le hagamos un cambio a una habitación con cocina.La cocina principal de la Villa no es cocina común. La cocina principal de la villa nomas es disponible cuando toda la villa se renta. Si su estancia era con deseo de uso de una cocina, su opción era de reservar una habitación con cocina, oh rentar toda la villa para tener el uso de la concina principal de la villa. Posiblemente, no quiso pagar la diferencia de tarifa para una habitación con cocina y a hora está disconforme de que no le permitieron el uso de la cocina gratis. Es mejor pagar por los servicios que busca y no reclamar porque no se le dio gratis.

Qué vergüenza para un lugar tan hermoso !
El lugar es estupendo! ¡Nuestra suite y la vista también! Aquí es donde se detiene lo positivo. Ahora, la realidad: Siguiendo es lo que incluions en nuestra suite pero nunca tuvimos: Botellas de agua, Baño privado con hidromasaje, Tétera, Pantuflas, Toalla de papel. Hice la búsqueda de 3 personas y me ofrecieron la suite Maestra. Cuando pagué, descubrí que me cobraron 2000$ mxn mas por la tercera persona (¡sorpresa!). Le pregunté al dueño el día anterior por agua y todo para 3 personas, ya que estaba pagando una tarifa oculta adicional. Confirmó hacer todo lo posible para una estadía placentera y me ofreció usar un baño privado con hidromasaje en otra suite. Cuando llegamos, estaba ausente y el hombre de la recepción no pudo ayudarnos con nada. ¡Nadie llevaba máscara, nadie! Pedí dos veces ver al dueño a su regreso. Él nunca vino. La señora de la limpieza (sin máscara, sin guantes) no sabía nada sobre el tercero. Tuve que pedir todo, incluso jabónes, taza, bata de baño, café. Ella nunca trajo un vaso de agua. Afuera encontré una lata de cerveza, Kleenex. Ofrecen servicio a la habitacion, pero no estaba. Esperaba usar la tina de hidromasaje, pero el dueño desapareció para no darme acceso. Como llovió todo el día, al día siguiente, esperábamos usar la piscina y la tina de hidromasaje exterior, pero había hombres trabajando allí. Cuando lo hicimos más tarde, el hidromasaje y la calefacción no funcionaban y los 2 cascadas tambien. No me sorprendió !!! Servicio Horrible !!!

Señora usted escribe un libro nomás por su disconformidad de que no le regale gratis por lo que no pago. Yo no le cobre por persona extra. Yo le cobre lo que la reservación de Expedía me dijo que cobre. Cuando usted hizo la reservación si no era de acuerdo, no haga la reservación. Usted recibo lo que su reservación le prometió. Su reservación era nomás para un día, gracias a dios. Su habitación de una cama king es apropiada para una pareja y el baño está preparado para una pareja. Usted se presentó con tres adultos y pide tress jabón, tres different shampoo tres tendidos y servíos especial y también piedad que le regale el desayuno y la cena y que le de descuento en la tarifa. Lo siento pero yo y todo el staff batallo con su estancia. Le repito, Gracias a Dios que nomás fue por un día

La gente del hotel muy agradable, de hecho nos ayudaron a cambiar unos dlls porque no teníamos efectivo. Solo recomiendo que tengan un pequeño bar o restaurant para los huéspedes porque esta muy cómodo el hotel
