Amazing Resort - Better than expected

Came here with a group of 9 friends. The suites and the view from the suites were absolutely incredible - much better than the pictures seem. The resort is very beautiful and they have an on-site restaurant with a great menu. Staff were all very friendly and responsive to any requests. The one thing guests should be prepared for is to climb a lot of stairs (they have an elevator, but in most instances, you have to climb steps to access it and it didn’t always work). Probably wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues. Overall though, I’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful boutique resort

Marcela is a hotel that offers spacious rooms, gorgeous rooms and attentive staff. It has a great location with a relatively short downhill walk to the beach. Good food, spa, and poolside services. Definitely recommend!

Wow, wow, wow... yowza, yowza, yowza!

What an unexpected experience! This was a brand new listing when we booked, with no reviews yet. But the photos were beautiful so we decided to roll the dice. And right away there was a hiccup... the 4 bedroom suite that we had booked turned out to only be a 3 bedroom. But the hosts immediately contacted us acknowledging the inaccuracy in the listing and said they would take care of it and put us in their 7th floor penthouse at no additional charge. So to be honest, we really weren't sure of what we'd find when we checked in. But we quickly realized we were in for a treat. Daniela checked us in and the staff took our bags up to our room. The room was beautiful and had an amazing view of the city and the bay. Service was amazing, and the restaurant and cabana bar staff were excellent! Daniela and Betty were very helpful with information and arranging transportation and covid testing for our return trip. While it's not directly on the beach, it's a short five minute walk down (although you may want to taxi back if you have too many cervezas!). But with several cascading pools available, you can find a nice quiet spot to relax on the beautifully landscaped property! And almost every room has a beautiful panoramic view of the beach. We've been coming to Puerto Vallarta at least twice a year for the last 12 years and this was by far our best stay yet! Thanks Marcela!

Very Nice Place

This place was beyond my expectations. Check-in was easy, all the staff is very pleasant and friendly, food at the restaurant is excellent and the views from the villa were breathtaking.
