"We’ve stayed at other Royal resorts in Mexico (Cancun and Cabo) and had great experiences, but this Acapulco location was the weakest by far. It wasn’t terrible, but it’s in serious need of updates and improvements.
The staff was fine overall, but the timeshare sales team was very pushy. They bothered us daily, which quickly became frustrating when all we wanted was to relax.
The food was average. We often ended up leaving the resort for dinner, which made the all-inclusive package feel like...

"The street leading up to private gated community is a bit dark but once the gate keeper opens it and as you walk in the property the place is very nice and clean it met my specifications for us to stay. Walmart is about a 5 minute drive, at night and during the day you will find tacos stands near by and other restaurants to enjoy. There is also an Oxxo store more like 7 eleven store. We enjoy the villa, we didn’t have time for the pool but looks pretty nice."
