Ptuj is the oldest town in Slovenia. Not the biggest place, but a few notable things to see and do including the castle, historic centre and the thermal spa. Regular buses to Maribor (hourly) are €3.60 and take 30 minutes - see arriva.si. There is also a train station which connects to Maribor, Ljubljana and Murska Subota. #castle #historiccentre #oldtown
