I will never use VRBO again. You can not talk to anyone that will or can help. They can not or will not get in touch with the owner/manager of the property. Had to wait to get into the cabin, even then couldn't get in, the key was not in the lock box. The owner was running late because he had to get clean sheets for beds and towels, which should have been done days before. We waited 30 minutes, sitting in the yard and left. Now VRBO is keeping my money, saying I canceled. That is a lie, they scammed me out of money. VRBO is a con game, they take the money and it is smoke and mirrors trying to deal with them. My advise to all, do not use VRBO. they are crooks, a total scam.

No communication or check in info. When he finally called me back after we arrived on location, he said it would be 45 minutes..,,we waited an hour and a half and he never showed up. We ended up at a motel. I would avoid this one for sure.

First off we were locked out starting at check in time. Left three messages with owner and never heard back. Mind you this is in the middle of nowhere. We came back around 830pm assuming maybe they were just running behind. But nope still locked. Managed to get in thru a window but the place was filthy. So now we are sleeping in a truck at the racetrack because there was literally no where else to stay. And don’t even get me started on the “customer service” that is all outsourced outside of the US. Offered no help except to tell us to just leave.

The house was not very clean and in the amenities it listed a hot tub and there was no hot tub to be found. The gas range did not work nor did the TV or DVD player. We had to fiddle around with the electrical to get anything to work . . Otherwise location and such were fine

Fun lake extended weekend!!!
This was just the perfect spot for our last lake Tudor the summer & will for sure be back!!! We took our family & our see doos & it had super easy access to the boat ramp!!! I give it 👍👍!!!😃

Wonderful Lakefront!
We loved our stay at this lake house! It had everything we wanted and the walk to the dock was not too bad, a bit steep but not too bad. The only negatives were very minimal but the back roads to get there are a bit rough so be prepared and use caution! Also, the dock had a lot of birds nesting over the boat slip which was addressed by the owners and hopefully won’t be a problem for others. We will definitely stay again!

Family Weekend Lake Trip
Perfect way to start our summer. Back deck was a perfect way to start and end our day in relaxation. Perfect place for our family of six. Though the trek to and from the dock was a bit steep, it was still perfect for friends to pick us up on their boat. Definitely plan to make this an weekend trip. Very enjoyable stay.

Easy checkin and great communication
The place was just what I needed for the weekend. I was coming into town for sailing race and needed a place to stay each night. The house was comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Will definitely stay again.

FRIENDS WEEKEND
This is an awesome property for a relaxing getaway. The house is fully stocked with everything needed. Beds were comfortable and the ACs work perfect. GREAT shower and water pressure. The dock was very convenient and fit our 2 boats. Deck was great with plenty of seating and a grill ready to use. We will rent again! The hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Long way to the Dock
We had a good time, we brought our kayaks which are too heavy to carry down to the water and the nearest ramp was a 2 hour kayak trek. It was still fun there is a beach across from the dock.

Have been to this property many times and will continue to go as long as possible. Sunrise on the porch with a cup of coffee to the private dock for the boat makes for a wonderful weekend.

Quiet and relaxing getaway
The house was great for our needs. Two bedrooms, kitchen, a dining table with a view of the lake. I sat on the balcony/deck each morning and watched the sun rise. The boat dock was perfect. While it’s a hike down to the dock, the convenience was perfect. The cove for fishing was outstanding. We hope to stay again in the future. I’m was just the vacation we needed!!

Great 4th of July Vacation
Host did an excellent job. Property was amazing. We had a great time with family. The location is great in a quiet cove, with not much lake traffic. Having a dock to fish, swim, and boat was amazing.

Extended weekend at Keystone Lake
Our overall stay was very nice. I do agree with some previous reviews about the musty smell. It's probably coming from the living a/c or the old carpet. However, it's not an overpowering smell and with the A/C on you don't smell it. A/C is window units and they kept the whole place at a nice cool temp. I also absolutely agree about being in shape to hike down to the water and boat dock! Those are some real muscle making stairs.. 😂 If you swimming off the dock, use caution getting up as there is no wood on the ladder steps and the metal is pretty slick. Neighboring dock owners are really nice and friendly. For something else to do, we went to the Keystone Ancient Forest and did the Falls trail and as it had rained the night before, there were lots of creeks running and a couple of really big falls. It was really pretty. For the price, I would say it was a nice stay. Thanks for sharing your lake house. .

Lake Side Retreat
We rented this property for a lake side retreat as a literary group. We were able to watch a literary conference using the WiFi. It was beautiful to be among the lake and nature, while talking about books. The owner of this rental is very nice. We look forward to coming back out!

Cold Weather, Warm Fire
We happened to be there during an ice storm! Great vacation planning on our part, right?! The roads were sheets of ice, and the temperatures were in the teens. However, we were so very warm and cozy in the cabin. The cabin was warm when we got there, and there was plenty of firewood. We had roaring fires every night. Thank you for making sure we were taken care of!
