Stroll to the pet-friendly private beach with views of the monument or unwind on the farmer's porch. This newly built home features a washer and dryer, basic cable, WiFi , an outdoor shower for post-beach refreshment.

About this property

Airy & Bright home: Cozy retreat for all seasons in provincetown

  • Welcome to our beach cottage newly built in 2019. It is a 1 bedroom single family home, a short walk to a pet friendly beach. The private beach has views of Provincetown and the tip of Cape Cod. We are in an area called Beach Point and located just 2.5 miles from the center of town. We are located next to the Sandcastle Resort which is a timeshare resort. In the summer months this resort can be bustling and their staff housing is next to our home, it is quiet in the shoulder seasons. A bus runs to town during the summer season and is located just across the way. We are minutes from multiple National Seashore Beaches as well as many restaurants and shopping in Provincetown.

    Saturday to Saturday Rentals only for the months of July & August, (with exceptions for last minute cancellations)

    This beach house was newly built in the spring of 2019. The property is fully equipped for your convenience. We have a washer and dryer, wi-fi and much more. The bedroom upstairs has a king size bed and full bath. Downstairs is the full kitchen and living area along with a half-bath and farmer's porch. There is an outdoor shower for your convenience after the beach.

    Your four legged friends are always welcome as we are very dog friendly (we do not allow cats)

    Please joint us in the shoulder and off season as we stay open year-round. A great location for a holiday stay or a quiet winter cape weekend.

Macy’s Place provided the perfect get-away. Beach access is easy and we could walk our pups for long distances. It is beautiful. Much needed week away

Great place for two people and the dog. Lots of dogs in the neighborhood and people very friendly. Close to the harbor beach and short ride to ocean beach and downtown. Hoping to stay again next year.

An Amazing stay in P town

Macy’s place is beautiful. It offered a good amount of space for my hubby and myself and our dog. It is beautifully decorated and extremely well set up for a rental. The owner seemed lovely and we had a wonderful stay at the property. We would highly recommend Macy’s place!

Beautiful Cottage

Cottage was clean. Rooms were decorated beautifully. Kitchen was well equipped with utensils, pots, pans, aluminum foil and just about anything you could possibly need. Neighbors in the area were very friendly. The beach is a short walk from the cottage and is dog friendly. Our dog Daisy also enjoyed her stay.

Rainy stay in early April

We've stayed here a number is times and as usual this dog friendly cottage was clean and modern. The new sofa and bed are nice upgrades. The lower profile bed was appreciated. We didn't need to contact Brendan, we know the place well, but he's been very responsive in the past. Without hesitation we'll be back again..

The place was great, very clean and well-decorated in addition to being dog friendly. Very quick walk to the beach and the outdoor shower was very convenient as well. Location was also nice, just a short drive or bike ride to downtown. The only issue we encountered was the AC (downstairs) didn’t seem to be working but it was a cool week and the space was still a comfortable temp even without it. Overall highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here with our pup, and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. We have stayed in other VRBOs in PTown and were a little worried about being a bit farther from town, but Macy’s was perfect. Our pup learned to swim, and she was able to run and ball-chase at low tide and swim at high tide. The outside shower was perfect after beach time! We had to contact the host once as the mentioned beach chairs hadn’t been put out yet; those were delivered within a couple hours. Highly recommend!!

Charming, Quiet Cottage

Check-in was easy at this charming, quiet cottage. The furniture and appliances were newer and in very good condition. August was especially humid, so the air conditioning was much appreciated! The location is close to other cottages and a hotel, so it’s not desolate, but it’s not the center of the action, either. This is what we we’re looking for, so it was perfect. If you want to explore other towns on the Cape, you’ll probably want to bring your car and take advantage of the on-site parking. We had planned to drive and park at the house, then changed our mind and flew instead. I was worried we’d have trouble getting cars to restaurants and shops in Provincetown, but Uber and a local taxi company (MacGregor) made transportation easy. For groceries, we used Instacart, and that worked out great! The dog-friendly beach was a short walk away, and the host very kindly provided beach towels and chairs! Communication with the host was quick and easy.
