"Upon arrival we were greeted by a male receptionist (hair tied up) he is lovely . He’s very friendly helpful and willing to help 10 /10. The hotel is clean and welcoming. Our room was clean with plenty of room bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices the hot food was warm and I enjoyed all the items I chose. My only criticism is a lady wearing high heels who I think is maybe a manager took a telephone call it was clearly about work quite loud and continued to talk whilst walking to the top for toast etc. loud footsteps loud voice . we were on a break away from work so we didn’t want to hear work related issues . We just wanted to relax having breakfast. The location of the hotel is excellent met all our needs . We really enjoyed our stay …. Until next time."

"Great location. Good pub and food. The staff at the restaurant were excellent. Would have loved a bit more shower pressure and a removable shower head. Very good overall."

"Excellent staff! Very friendly and helpful. The road in front of the hotel was being redone while we there- a “heads up” about that would have been helpful. It’s done now. The Spa was just OK."

Eviston House Hotel

"The hotel is good value and in an excellent location in the centre of town. Killarney is a vibrant town with lots of bars and restaurants, the town feels upbeat. While not amazing the room and breakfast was perfectly good. For me as a solo motorcycle the part covered car park was perfectly for weather and security. There is limited parking spaces and when I arrived the car park was full but they were very happy to allow a motorcycle to just squeeze in and could accommodate several bikes this way. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were super friendly. I’d stay here again."

"Location was a tad bit out of the way from some activities, the bus, and train, but what it lacked in location, it made up in amenities. The room is spacious, clean, has air conditioning, and the bed is big. Check out is later than most other hotels and the staff was very helpful in holding our luggage and recommending things to do. Comfortable, relaxing, and would definitely stay here again."

Moxy Cork

"The Moxy was brilliant for what we needed for our 4 night city break. A perfect location next to the river, not far from Cork airport by taxi and then almost everything in the city was a good walkable distance, some things only up to 10 minutes away. The hotel inside and out was modern and aesthetically pleasing, with a lovely fragrance running through the lobby and main areas. Our room was nice, not the biggest, but had everything we needed. The shower was really nice and the air-conditioning was amazing- nice and cold- we were there during an Irish heatwave! The only drawbacks about the room was the view wasn't wonderful but it didn't really bother us, and the bed was soft/a bit uncomfortable but that happens in pretty much any hotel I go to so is probably just my issue! The staff at the Moxy were just brilliant, so welcoming and friendly. They were happy to help with anything you need. They were particularly accommodating when I spilled a drink on our bed and they quickly had the bedding changed. The bar was nice where we had a complimentary welcome cocktail, that was such a lovely touch. Thank you Moxy for a really nice and welcoming stay in Cork, what a beautiful hotel and city you have!"
