"Well now, this is officially only a 2 star hotel and so you might easily overlook it, but this is a really GOOD 2 star - big bedrooms with excellent AC, a fridge to keep drinks and snacks cool et., powerful WiFi signal, which is a big PLUS! Staff are laid back and not fussing around and an authentic breakfast which is really good for onlyJ$1,500pp. There is short path to a lovely secluded beach with a gentle sea to bathe in. You need a car for sure, as quite a rough access road, but don't be put off by this. Guaranteed you'll be pleasantly surprised, especially by the savings you'll make over swishier establishments. Try for a night or two first of all to see if you like it and I'm sure you will."

"The property is beautiful. You are on a hill top so you have a nice view to see the Ocean from a distance. bigga owner was great, very friendly and accommodating. There is area for cooking. The rooms are nice and big. The only thing i have to say that isnt good is that my room and a few of the other rooms where dusty and needed a good clean. I could feel sand on the floor. Owner explained that house keeper isnt available on the day we came so he did the cleaning. They advertised 8 rooms but we only got 4 rooms. I didnt make a fus because the 4 rooms could hold my family and guests. Overall not a bad place to stay. I would stay again but they have to dust that time. Owner gave me Julie mango which i was very happy for "

"The owners were attentive to our needs and provided us with authentic Jamaican meals, referrals to local sights, and history and current events of Jamaica. We felt like we were visiting relatives."

"Property is still under construction and some facilities did not meet expection, however when property is completed it will be superb. It would also be good if breakfast was added to the listing as it was difficult to buy food. Transport needed."

"After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud. Taxi driver refused to leave us there, we had no intention of staying there anyway. Not a nice area at all. So, again drove round looking for suitable accommodation for 17 nights. Very disappointed and scary. Since fully reimbursed."
