About this property
Private lake front property with huge patio!
Pompi’s on Poinsett has breathtaking views of the water unlike any other spot on the lake! This four-season lake house offers a large deck to watch the sunrise, enjoy the warm sun, cool breeze and gorgeous view of all Lake Poinsett on 75ft of private beach frontage!
The Space: The lake house is newly decorated for style and comfort. The perfect place for family vacation, girl’s getaway, hunting/ice fishing, or a couples retreat. The lake house offers two furnished bedrooms with queen beds, a living room with sleeper sofa, a separate entry/sun room that can be blocked off for sleeping which includes a sleeper sofa, and a 43" smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, and blue-ray DVD player available). A single bathroom with shower. The Kitchen is well-equipped for all your culinary needs, refrigerator, stove/oven, and microwave. A dining room table overlooking views of the lake with seating for 6. The deck boasts 16X21ft with Adirondack chairs, gas grill, and outdoor patio seating and chairs.
Being right on the lake means you have access to our 40ft dock where you can spend your days fishing, or jumping into the lake to cool off on a hot summer day! 8+ Fishing poles available. If fishing isn't your thing, feel free to enjoy kayaking (2 available), SUP’s (2 available), our four person paddle boat, or large floating mat 6x15ft (life jackets available). If you bring a boat, you can tie it up to our dock as well, but wouldn't suggest tying it overnight. The outdoor yard space also has a tire swing, double bench swing for star gazing, and luscious grass for outdoor yard games: can jam, giant yard size Jenga, and corn hole
Outdoor fire pit, and wood available for camp fires and s’mores!
Games & Puzzles available for your family to enjoy on those rainy days.
The lake house is a short boat or car ride to restaurants around the lake.
Additional information for rental consideration: We continue to make improvements on our home with the money made from renting our home. Don’t be surprised if something doesn’t look exactly like the pictures as we are constantly making changes to the home to make it even cozier!
When our lake house is not rented an English Bulldog named Stewie visits here. If someone is allergic to animals, you may want to consider a different home to rent. This is also a family friendly neighborhood with great neighbors who have young children and friendly pets. These kids and pets run around the neighborhood and are fun to interact with. Children ages range between 2 to 8.
As this is our home away from home, we ask that you treat our house as your own and leave it in the condition you would want to return to your house in :) our cleaning fee only covers the initial cleaning for your arrival. We look forward to having you stay!
Guest access: There are 2 entrances to the cabin: one from the front entrance, and one from the deck. To access the cabin the guest will be issued a pin code to enter into the key pad 24 hours prior to arrival.

For a small cabin it had everything we needed and was well stocked. Deck overlooking the lake was great and the fishing was good. My only complaint was the beds were uncomfortable.
My husband and I have been here before. We are back, because we like it so well. The cabin is nicely decorated, we always have everything we need. The weather was alittle cool, but we enjoyed the stay anyway. I can't think of a better way to relax!!
House was clean on check in, hosts were great about giving information about the house and location of fun water toys we could use. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. This is a great little cottage for a relaxing and quiet vacation right on the water.
This was the perfect place to enjoy some family time. We relaxed on the large deck with the beautiful view of the lake and enjoyed fishing and canoeing. The home is well stocked, and the beds are very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our week at the lake. We would definitely stay here again!
Clean, comfortable lake home with many extras. Property is as described and the host was very responsive with questions. I would highly recommend this home.
A lovely property and location. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Unfortunately, the weather was not very cooperative. Would love to come back and give it another try someday.
Our stay was amazing. We came here over the winter to go ice fishing. We were within minutes of driving distance to one area or of the lake. You could also walk out directly from the cabin to fish. Such a great neighborhood very clean. The cabin was cozy and adorable. Had all of the amenities you would need to stay away from home. The host were great also.
Just what we needed! Beautiful lake house, good food with great friends. Very relaxing, able to recharge. We are looking forward to coming back in the future to take advantage of the scenic lake. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.
The property was in a good location, clean, cozy and the owners provided excellent information on finding the cabin. This was a fall Pheasant hunting trip, so lake access was not an issue (dock was pulled). However, the listing was inaccurate in number of people who could comfortably stay. There were two of us (adults) and that was fine. Four would be challenging and they'd have to share beds. Any more would be very tough. The bathroom was exceedingly small. Kitchen reasonably equipped but stove/oven pretty old and fickle to use (particularly the oven). TV could use some instructions as figuring out their system took some exploration of remotes and various options. Overall, the cabin suited us fine, the price reasonable, and we'd stay again if up that way.
It was a nice property. Everything was as described. Very clean with all the appliances. We had our young adults kids (and grand daughter!) join us for an afternoon, and it worked well for a small gathering. The view was fantastic, but it was fall so we did not get on the lake.
Just to let you know the bathroom is pretty small. This isn't necessarily a fault, but it wasn't real easy to get it around there.
We very much enjoyed this beautiful property located on the lake. Spectacular sunrise and sunset views. Very responsive and helpful host. We had lots of fun paddle boating, fishing and kayaking. The end of summer seems to be the time for algae blooms and waters were too warm for abundant fish catching- however did get a few walleye. I think we would try spring if we stay again. Lots of gnats and mosquitoes when we went end of September but host had bug spray at the house.home was well stocked with just about anything we needed. No laundry on the property but found a laundromat in Arlington that was perfect. Great antique store across the street to browse while waiting for laundry to be done. Overall we had a wonderful time!
