8/10 Good
"Had issues with electric door keys. If one person forgets their key and goes to the front desk to get another one, both of the original keys will no longer work. Basically, locking the other person out and forcing them to go get a working key. At this point, all keys except the new one do not work. To solve this never ending problem we had to figure it out ourselves and ask for 2 new keys any time someone needs one from the front desk. This happened twice to me and my wife and once to my daughter. The front desk people should’ve seen this coming and taken care of it for us the first time. The driveway entrance is not in front of the building like usual, it’s not well marked, and it’s hard to see at night. Instead, the entrance is about a block away and down a side road. By the time you figure out it’s not in front, you have missed the turn and will need to do a U-turn in the middle of Hwy 287. Fortunately, it’s plenty wide and not much traffic. Otherwise, very clean, no other problems and the chocolate chip waffles were awesome!!"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Pritchett?
The best time to go to Pritchett, Colorado, is during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) months. These periods offer comfortable weather for exploring the area without the extremes of summer heat or winter cold.

Spring in Pritchett brings mild temperatures, typically ranging from 10°C to 20°C, and the landscape begins to green after the winter. It's an excellent time for outdoor activities like hiking and visiting the nearby Comanche National Grassland, where you can see wildflowers starting to bloom. The Canyons of the Ancients National Monument is particularly pleasant to explore during these months.

Autumn also provides agreeable weather, with temperatures often between 15°C and 25°C. The air is crisp, and the natural scenery can be quite striking as the foliage changes colour, especially along the Purgatoire River. This season is ideal for those who enjoy photography or simply want to experience the region's natural beauty in a relaxed setting.

While summer (June to August) is popular for families due to school holidays, temperatures can often exceed 30°C, which might be less comfortable for extended outdoor excursions. Winter (November to March) can be quite cold, with potential for snow, making some outdoor activities less accessible.
