"This renovated Motel was excellent in most categories. Looked like it was recently renovated including furniture, very clean but best off all it was very quiet and that was probably because it was just off the highway. Staff was very friendly. Having breakfast facilities would have been nice and therefore is recommended. Something should go with the coffee. "

"We chose the Illinois River Valley because it is halfway between my home in Kentucky and my brother's home in Minnesota. It is in building Y nestled in a wooded corner of a cluster of lovely cedar-shingled fourplexes behind the Grand Bear Resort. You can walk to the St. Louis Canyon trail from the complex.
