The air conditioner was very good. Bathroom very clean but no grab bars in shower. Bedding looked fresh. Sidewalks WERE NOT handicap accessible, had to have assistance getting on and off sidewalks at all entrances. Does not look anything like photos.

Convenient bargain

There are no motels in Dawson Springs, therefore the two closest motels are in Princeton. One of them is this motel, which we stayed at several times in the past, but avoided for quite a while due to an unpleasant experience we had. Our regular motel was booked, we decided to give this one another chance, and overall it was a wise decision. No complaints, it’s your typical bargain motel in a small town, clean, affordable. Believe me, you can do much worse. We have.

Black Patch Festival

We had 2 rooms. Check in was easy. Attendant was quiet but quick & helpful. Rooms were reasonable. For the most part, rooms appeared clean. Beds were comfortable. My only 2 suggestions: wipe down the doors, especially the bathroom & fridge doors; and add an extra roll of toilet paper for guests or try to utilize larger rolls. Keep in mind, this is a very old motel, & they have done a fair job to fix it up. It is a basic room to stay a night or two. Plenty of restaurants & shopping nearby & within walking distance. I will likely stay here again & recommend it for others.
