The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered major changes to the way we travel. If you're planning an escape to Princess Royal Island, the following tips will help you navigate this new travelling reality:

• Find out if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before booking. Also check if there are any requirements you'll need to follow on arrival, such as undergoing health assessments.
• Keep your face mask on even during airport screening. A TSA officer will ask you to temporarily lower your mask for identification purposes.
• To reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination, place your boarding pass on the reader yourself and then hold it up for inspection. Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA officer.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on luggage. It must be no larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll need to remove it from your bag at the X-ray machine for scanning.
• Place any personal items (e.g, wallet, keys and phone) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during screening.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray scanning. Putting it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA agent to touch and inspect your belongings.
