"Our stay at "Make a Mistake Cabin" was no mistake. It was perfect. Driving through the winding roads and arriving at a quiet cove of Lake of the Ozarks, we arrived at the nicely-appointed, stocked, and well-kept cabin. Each day we awoke to see wildlife outside either side of the cabin, walked down the path to the large covered dock, watching fish jump all over the cove. In the 10 days there we caught over 70 fish, including several that were 2-5 pounds...bass, bluegill, crappie, drum, and catfish. Our boys kayaked and explored both creeks (to the near left and far left of the dock) for days. Our hosts communicated well and timely with us. The only issue we ran into was a microwave that stopped working, which the hosts replaced the very same day by delivery.We also tried local places to eat around Roach, Camdenton, and Osage Beach.No "mistake" about it... staying there was exactly what we needed. We made a lot of wonderful memories there...and would highly recommend to all."
