    Warm and inviting, this marvelous home on the shores of Rainbow Lake is perfect for an entertaining and memorable stay. With something for everyone, kids, adults, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts, this location is a true year-round retreat. Nestled on a beautiful wooded 21-acre lot, you will find adventure in every season. Spend summer days fishing, boating, swimming, or soaking up the sun, or enjoy winter activities like ice fishing and snowmobiling. Rainbow Lake is renowned for excellent year-round fishing. Manitowish Waters is just under 11 miles in one direction, and Presque Isle is seven miles in the other, both offering plenty of local attractions. Nearby, a discovery center just outside Manitowish Waters is perfect for children. The main living area of the home is on the second level, featuring rich wood paneling, abundant natural light, and stunning lake views. A dramatic floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace anchors the living space. Snuggle up on the sofas by the fire or enjoy the view from the ones facing the lake for a relaxing evening. The fully equipped kitchen is spacious and stocked with all major appliances, cookware, and ample counter space, while the large dining table comfortably seats everyone. An additional table in the kitchen offers even more seating options. Step out onto the deck to admire the lake from a new perspective, relax in one of four Adirondack chairs, or fire up the propane grill for a warm-weather barbecue. Outdoor amenities include two single kayaks, a cozy firepit, and a private sauna for ultimate relaxation. This level also offers two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The newly remodeled basement adds even more living space with a dry bar, seating area, smart TV, two additional bedrooms, and another full bathroom, perfect for larger groups or multi-family stays. THINGS TO KNOW Streaming services are available using your own accounts. There is a primitive small area to place small boats in the water. Be mindful of the grass. Great for a small group

Lots of room for our 8 person family, including 3 boys under 10yrs. Loved seeing the loon family and swan family close up on the lake. The kids swam, fished, and kayaked.

Great Long weekend

The home is very cozy and there was plenty of room for 5 kids and 5 adults and our dog. The lake is great for kayaking and canoeing not so much for swimming or fishing. We had a great time in nature!

Fishing weekend

We had 10 adults fishing for several days. Property is beautiful, great place to come back to and relax. Plenty of space for multiple vehicles with boats! We will be back.

Great vacation home

House was super clean and very well equipped, for adults, the kids and the dog. view from the house was outstanding of the lake and land Nice pier for fishing and swimming. Good wifi and TV with lots of stations already on.very enjoyable vacation. The only thing I would have liked would have been a small refrigerator downstairs for cold beverages.

Beautiful view with spacious living

Loved our time at rainbow lake. The view of the lake was amazing and it was easy to put the canoes and kayaks into the water to better explore the lake. We saw many loons and a family of swans swim by the cabin. We enjoyed playing cards in the breakfast nook and cooking large family meals in the kitchen. The kitchen and entry way were well stocked and spacious allowing us to cook easily.

Family Gathering

We had a great time. Some of us spent much time fishing and caught lots of pan fish. We enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks, but it was difficult fishing from them. It was fun watching the Loons and Swans swimming in the lake. The house provided plenty of room for our 6 adults, 3 children, and 1 small dog. It was nicely furnished, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Very nice, but watch the fees

Very quiet, peaceful lake, and great cabin. Beautiful view of the lake with swans and loons. Close to everything we wanted to access. Quite new, very comfortable king sized bed. But, the fees that were charged for our 5 night stay came to more than the rent. Our bad for missing this when we booked on front end. Not sure if we’ll return given the high fees, but we loved the spot.

Rainbow Lake

This is a terrific property. Very unique floor plan. Comfy bed and plenty of room to spread out. Kayaks and peir were perfect for fishing and watching swans. Pan fish were small but I think all the big ones were caught this summer. We were there the end of September so mouse traps in the house but no big deal as we did not leave any food out and did not see any evidence of them. Downstairs nice are for ping pong and TV area. The only suggestion would ne to label where things are in the cup boards Overall a great experience at a reasonable price. I would go back again and tell others.

Great lakefront house lots of space

The lake was easy to access and shockingly quiet for the middle of the summer. The house was clean and spacious. We loved the sauna. The tap water was drinkable and showers were warm. Make sure to bring bug spray and sun screen :)

Family Vacation late Aug

We loved the cabin:) had a fresh modern feel to it as well. The house was spacious enough for my family and two dogs. I loved walking in to see two dog water dishes. More people travel with the fur babies more than ever. It was nice to see they were welcomed as well. Beautiful views of the lake and lots of room outside! We will be booking again, thanks for the great stay!
