The river runs in the middle of the town, and there is a low level bridge at tge hotel to walk to a park across the river. The hotel refused to reimburse us for failing to provide us with a room and knowingly took our cash...
"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."
