"The hotel was nice walking in and we had immediate service at the front desk. Parking was easy. The pool and hot tub was nice and the little tots play area was fun for the littles. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast tasted good and was fresh. BUT....
Our room was extremely cold, so we turned up the heat and it didn't work. The phone in our room didn't even have a cord attached, so we could not use it. Our toilet was clogged, so my husband had to go down to pick one up (we couldn't call) and they just sent it with him to the room without offering help (embarrassing). There was drops of something red on the side of the bathroom counter that looked like blood but not positive. My son found a pill of some sort at the end of one of the beds on the floor but so glad he found it and not the little one.

"Check in was smooth, but the elevator and hallway of floor 2 were very smelly, sort of a mixture of cigarettes, weed, and stale humans.
Thankfully the room was clean and odourless.
Pool area did not have towels, but we went later in the evening so it was not too surprising. One of the two hot tubs was out of order and roped off, the hot tub that was available was clean and HOT. Did not get in the pool, but it looked clean and there was a family happily playing in the water together.
Breakfast area was clean, selection was the usual basics like waffles, cheese omelette, sausage, hashbrowns, toast, yogurt and dry cereal. "
"The first impression I got wasn't a good start. I got to the front desk and there was nobody there. There wasnt any bell to ring or anything. Some random guy told me I have to knock on the office door to the side. So I did that, and nobody came out. I waited for nearly 10 minutes until someone arrived at the desk.
The room I was out in was right next to the pool area. My window was connected to it. So the only view I had outside my window was the pool area, which I could hear from my room. Luckily, it was closed. But if there were people there, it would have been annoying to hear right next to me.
The rustic aesthetic is nice. I like the decor. But the desk chair is just a metal bronze colored chair which is very uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time. Not ideal for a workspace. The bed sheets were very soft. But that didn't make up for the stiff mattress that didn't do my back any favors. Also, the fan im the bathroom rattled like crazy. I couldnt even use it.
Checkout went nearly identical to check in, waiting for 10 minutes. The phone was ringing by the desk the whole time though. The lady checking me out was very nice though.
Overall, this wasnt the worst experience. But for the money I paid, I would rather go somewhere else next time."
"Below average. We stayed half the trip at holiday inn express which was much cleaner, larger rooms and no parking fee. Parking lot was overfull. Loud night placed next to a basketball tournament crew. And hearing/cooling unit was extremely loud. Refrigerator also didn’t work. "
"This was one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. WIFI worked great. On site restaurant is a big plus for those of us that aren't up to exploring the area. Thank you. "
The picturesque setting of Saint Croix River and Mississippi River showcase the area's natural beauty. During your stay, visit sights such as Prescott City Docks, Public Square Park and Miss Croix Yacht Harbor.
