"The hotel is in a perfect spot to enjoy the sound of the waves while you fall asleep, to walk to and on the beach and to enjoy a low key relaxing stay. My only suggestion would be to take your own chair to relax in as the chairs in the room and on the balcony were stiff and uncomfortable. That said I will 100% be back (with a chair)!"

"I'll start with the fact that keeping up a place that has been around a while is a tough job, that said, I can tell they certainly care and want to provide a nice stay. I had a room with a nice bay view and out a ways could glimpse the waves of ocean... Having the view alone made up for any small noticeable things that need attention. I fully appreciated the front desk staff experience, personable and friendly. And I fully appreciated the space itself with the view......which was enough for me. Great one night experience."

"Wow! The beautiful Elk River…serene, close to the coast, but away from it all. It rained the first night we were there and listening to the rain instead of traffic and city noise was amazing! It is rustic, large, and big enough for a huge family gathering. There was only 4 of us, but a larger group would get a fabulous deal. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for lots of people. The owner was welcoming from the beginning and very responsive. I shared pics with a friend and she said “I hope this is what heaven looks like!”"

"This VRBO is a nice space with a living room, bedrooms, spacious bathroom and kitchen great for 2 or so people. Nice, quiet neighborhood with different directions to walk to town, the city park, Agate beach. Rick, the host was so accommodating, really helped at the time of check in and made himself available for any questions or needs.This pet-friendly space was comfortable for my dog, in the house or spacious yard, and he home is in good location for evening walks around the neighborhood. Id stay here again when in the area."

"Our group of 5 really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO for 3 nights. Laura, the host was so helpful in making sure our plans worked out. Great communication, anytime I would message her! Plenty of space for us and our two Golden Retrievers. House was well stocked with everything one would need for an extended stay. Home was very clean. Location was perfect. View could be better with some tree trimming, but again, not a big deal. We would not hesitate to stay here again. It was really comfortable for us. 3 bathrooms meant no waiting lines. Could use extra seating in the livingroom for evening relaxation, but again not that big of a deal. We do not regret what-so-ever booking this home for our stay. Everyone in our party enjoyed it. We slept well and enjoyed our evenings after returning from our adventures around Port Orford. Barbecue on the deck was a plus too."

"Lovely turn of the century building with breathtaking views of the ocean. The new owners are remodeling and cleaning up every room. Lighter and bright rooms. Crisp blue/ white curtains and coverlets. Since the new management is Irish I was hoping for an “experience “ like a bon fire story time/ music like Ireland."
