"I highly recommend this hotel. You take a boat to get there from Abraao that the hotel organizes and end up in this beautiful, serene and romantic place. We absolutely loved it! You can hike to town (took us 1 hour 30 minutes/great hike) and get water tours from Abraao or keep hiking (lots of options) or they will organize a water tour to pick you up at hotel. There is definitely a party scene on Abraao so it was amazing to be away from it all."

"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

"The pousada was homey and comfortable. The colored bungalows made it feel a bit like a sleepaway camp and the home cooking made it feel like staying with a family. Great place if you're not looking for anything too upscale and are happy with mellow vibes. The grounds are beautifully kept and there's a nice, small pool. It's isolated on its' own more remote part of the island, but it's a short walk out to the dock to hop on a boat and explore the other wonders of Ilha Grande. "

I didn’t like the small unlit sign at the road, the dirty driveway is in poor conditions, no visibility on top of the hill plus big potholes, the property sits at a steep angle to the ocean requiring big steps stairs to access the room or the pool. "For about EUR 184 per night the hotel doesn‘t fulfill a middle class hotel standard at all. 2 lamps in the room were broken, the interior is very rudimentary, TV was blurry, whitrpool engine broken, dirty and ice cold. This is maximum a 2 star hotel. For that price, you get a good quality 4 star hotel in Rio with ocean view."
