"The hotel its rooms, public area and grounds are very maintained, elegantly appointed and luxurious. The included breakfast included a wide variety of fruits, breads, meats and cheese. Cooked to order eggs. The eggs were perfectly prepared. Dinner in the Michelin rated restaurant was memorable. The scallops and oysters were the best I’ve ever had. I hope to return to this excellent hotel and spa."

"It was my first time in spain and for someone that doesn’t really speak fluent spanish the staff was very helpful. The taxi service they call is fast and they let us keep our bags in storage for our last day even though we checked out at 12pm our train to madrid wasn’t until 8pm so we were able to walk around without bringing the luggage everywhere"

The historic building property is impressive and so beautiful that from the moment you see it, you know you made the right decision to stay in. Staff is welcoming, caring and dedicated professionals. "Difficult to grade as we arrived quite late and left early. The issue we had was that messages were not being delivered regarding check-in from the hotel. There is a note on the Expedia system that says "staff may not be available and check-in codes will be provided". We never received such codes and as such panicked calls were needed by us to Expedia on the day of arrival. They couldn't get in touch with anyone here and we were left wondering what might happen. Finally we spoke to someone who assured us someone would be there to help when we arrived at around 8pm. From then on it was fine, although the door key didn't work initially. Staff that greeted us were pleasant."
