"The hotel is incredible, from the beautifully restored monastery and beautiful decoration to the breakfast, everything is simply done to perfection. It’s the perfect location for staying on your big wedding day and to relax after you go through all the planning from it. The Spa is amazing, I’ll definitely return again. "
"Nice hostel with clean room, bed and shower.
Get to meet and exchange notes with others walking the camino.
Shared lounge was spacious yet cozy. Good breakfast"
"Came in late. Tired, sweaty, just looking for a comfy bed. Was met by an amazing lady who served a delicious dinner. Soo nice.
I can really recommend this stay"
"Beautiful accommodation in a peaceful location. Perfect blend of old and modern. Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of amenities, including two pools, games and little nooks and crannies to sit and relax. Don’t hesitate to stay here. "
"Being one of the first guests at this resort was amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The property is absolutely beautiful. The lodges/ cabins was fantastic as it was brand new. As it is brand new there are a few issues with the buggies to/from the reception/parking lot/lodges. Need phone "

"We enjoyed our stay. The room was great. The included breakfast was excellent. There was a lot of choice: eggs, bacon, ham cheeses, breads, yoygurt, fruit, etc."
"This hotel is true luxury. Staying in the most perfectly developed historical building was nothing but joyful and relaxing. The staff are proud of their roles, warm and professional. The hotel is immaculate. Rooms were cleaned to the highest standards and also turned down each evening with a home baked sweet treat left. The spa was not half measures and again is perfect. I had in fact booked this hotel by mistake, believing it to be in Porto…..it turns out to be the best mistake I made. Taxis cost no more than 18euros either way and using uber was easy.
The area has lots of good restaurants that reminds be-food at the hotel is again top notch. I have nothing to even make as a suggestion as improvement for this hotel. My only negative point would be the area whilst having history is fairly unkempt."
"It’s very clean. Nice and friendly people at reception desk. Excellent breakfast. Coffee and juice available 24 hrs. Nice touch. Would stay there again!"

"Apartment was clean and beautiful and host was extremely helpful. Small market a few feet away for essentials and great outdoor area. Street parking behind apartment so we parked and used Uber to Porto and Vila do Conde. Do not miss dinner at Quinta da Peneda and have the pork and chocolate/salted caramel cake. Reservations necessary. Great other restaurants. "
