"3 minutes from the ferry terminal, so convenient. Staff were very accommodating & friendly. It’s an older hotel but we’ll looked after & clean. The room had everything a big expensive hotel has… they even had comfy robes in the rooms. One of the most comfortable hotels we have stayed in. "

"Wonderful views from the room with large enough balconies to sit outside. The walls could do with more soundproofing. We were there when it wasn’t busy so no issues. The most excellent food in the restaurant with amazing outdoor seating. Great breakfast except the hot water for tea wasn’t hot enough. A few people complained about that."

"Okay, lots of poor reviews, so perhaps I'm being a little too generous, but this place wasn't terrible. Certainly dated, but I think that's what to expect at that price point. My room was clean, heater worked, television, WiFi, bathroom was full of necessaties. Lady at front office was very pleasant. Its a motel, not a resort."

"First commercial property in Powell River. Built 1911 a lot of fun because of the history it represents. Its a heritage building and is old but for us and are dog the one night was great. Great Greek food just 5 min walk with a local brewery even closer. "
