Beautiful, amazing stay. The cabin was very nice and the location was perfect. Emilie and family were great hosts, very friendly, and made us feel at home. Would absolutely recommend this! Would love to go back and stay longer. (Fudgy, cowboy, and copper were good hosts too)
"Cabin" is too quaint, "House" is too formal. This is a lodge, with plenty of room, top-notch amenities, picturesque views and great hosts. We were a six-man, family hunting party and we could not have had better accomodations.
This is a beautiful property with wonderful views. It was perfection having morning coffee on the deck looking at the mountains. The cabin has everything you need for your stay and it is in a great location for anyone wanting a more peaceful stay close to Cody and Yellowstone.
The home was perfect for our family getaway. We were a four generation party of 8 and the home had plenty of room and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The scenery and abundant wildlife sightings in the area made for a name stay. Even spotted a wolf. We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away.
Very beautiful scenery. Quiet mountain views. Emilie and Aaron were available anytime we needed anything. And even checked to see if we were warm.warm.enough. Ill definitely recommend.
We had the most amazing week staying here! After big days of enjoying the beautiful surroundings you are treated to a wonderful view at home! Sitting on the porch while you relax and listen to the area wildlife as well. Emilee was perfect to work with and very responsive. Thank you Emilee for everything!
This cabin is exactly as described. We loved the serenity, the open spaces, being able to explore down by the river, and the beauty of the countryside. The cabin was very comfortable, gorgeous views from every window and from the porch. We had all we needed for a 3 nights stay. The only issue we had was the heating system was loud and required the door of the master bedroom to be shut for a good nights sleep - not familiar with propane heating but may be normal. Other than that there were no issues. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I don’t even know where to start. Emilie, thank you so much for being the best host! The property is beautiful, the beds and accommodations so comfortable and the views are breathtaking. To add to a fabulous property, neighbor Marlo was so helpful and fabulous! She added so much to our stay! Swimming in the river was a highlight as well as getting to view the blue moon from heaven on earth! But I must say the true highlight was Cowgirl and her horse Cowboy. We can’t wait to return! The definition of serenity is this beautiful home
In Clark WY!!!!
First of all, WE need to say Emilie was the absolute PERFECT host! Her family truly shows pride in ownership of this lovely cabin sundrenched in the pure beauty of all Wyoming has to share. Every spring & fall we come to Yellowstone to experience the fascination & love we have for its surroundings. We typically stay close to the park, within 30 mins drive. I'm so happy we found Emilie's cabin in Clark, WY. It was a perfect home base for all our excursions to the park & NEW day trips with views so amazing that we're still talking about them while back in Colorado. In the early morning hours, you wake to a sea of stars as far as your eyes can see. As dawn breaks the horizon turns the most beautiful shades of pink, then deep orange. The Clark Fork Yellowstone River glistens with the colors of sunrise. Pure magic is all I can say... Emilie's communication of what to do & where to go was a great help to us, as looking at maps & roads you just have no idea what is over each crest, each hill, and every turn until you experience it yourself. Definitely take Emile's advice & take a drive on the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway to Cooke City & Silver Gate to the NE entrance to YNP. Next time we'll catch the Beartooth Highway. Emilie thank you for sharing your cabin with my husband & I. We have shared our experiences with our friends & families & will be BACK again, hopefully, this spring, if not definitely next FALL!! Thanks again for your hospitality :) Always, Cathi & Dave (Colorado)
We cannot say enough about this property and the host. The location and home are stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. The home is comfortable in every way. Emily is responsive and incredibly helpful. We loved our time here and hope to come back someday.
We grew up in the area and brought friends with us to see Wyoming for the first time. Staying here made our trip even more memorable and authentic. Exceeded all our expectations! Views and property are amazing!!
WOW! This house is amazing . The views are awesome and then some . So peaceful . If you want to get away from it all this is the place to go . Emilie is the best host ever ! Very easy to work with and her respond time is very fast like in minutes . She gave us a recommendation on a route to take to Yellowstone and the views were lovely and there were a lot of spots for photo opportunities, we drove through this little town called cook city and stoped for a bite to eat best little town ever . To sum it all up I would stay at this house again in a heart beat Emilie is the BEST! Joann New Jersey
The house is beautiful and the property is something to experience coming from western PA. The host Emily couldn't have been nicer. The property is about a 30 minute drive from Cody, WY. It's the perfect place to rest & recharge from city life and to experience wide open vistas. Note: you may want to have an SUV, although the road to the house is flat it is a dirt road and slightly rough.
