"We really enjoyed our stay here! Was a cute little lake house. Will say, it’s definitely more for a small family rather than a couples trip vibe as there’s only one bathroom. Pros: Host was kind enough to let us use the hot tub since it was still filled. Very quiet and clean space.Cons: the slats on the dock were super far apart which made getting down the already skinny dock kind of difficult. Also wanted you to clean AND put away dishes (on top of a decent cleaning fee) which is hard given being used to only having to load and start it on the way out at other places."

"Very nice place with plenty of room. AC had a difficult time keeping up and the dock needs a little TLC (cleats tightened and some boards screwed down). We loved the outdoor deck and easy walk down to the dock."

"Everything was perfect for a large family like ours! The house is beautiful and in a perfect location if you bring your boat. The only suggestion we’d make is more lighting for pickleball at night and more seating on the lower patio. Other than that, we had a great time and were very pleased with the property! We hope to come back!"

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay! We planned to fish, didn't get alot bites however, the property was equipped with kayaks that we used to navigate the lake which was really fun! We paddled to other fishing areas where we did get some bites! The cabins was clean and comfy, we had no issues with the amenities! The owner was responsive when we reached out. They even had a little welcome basket that we really appreciated! The mercantile shop nearby was very useful, they had everything you could need. Overall we enjoyed our stay and plan to come bacl again!"
Sunset Lodge at Possum Kingdom- with a Dock!

"Our 4 generation family of 15 enjoyed our stay at Sunset Lodge on the west side of Possum Kingdom in the Fox Hollow cove. The area was quiet and beautifully maintained yards and docks. The house was more than adequate to meet our needs. The back of the house opens out to the lake front with a dock and covered area for multiple boats and fishing. The screened in back of the house had lots of space to hangout while not on the lake. The kitchen is well appointed with pots, pans and dishes. There are 4 refrigerators to hold all the food and drinks we brought with us. We were close to public boat ramp with an area to park our boat trailers and there are several nearby stores in case you forget something. And we did use Walmart delivery which was a nice surprise. We did have to call host a couple of times and she was very responsive and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to book again and would recommend for a big group."
