Very clean, friendly staff

The Rambler Inn was clean and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. The continental style breakfast was very good.

Great location directly behind Portstewart promenade. Large private car park. Rambler Inn was spotlessly clean, bright, modern décor with a great (pull-string) walk-in shower, so plenty of hot water. Friendly and helpful staff/owner. We stayed in a double room which we found rather on the small side and not as pictured on the website. There were no chairs or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Complimentary tea/coffee is provided beside reception but isn't convenient for those with limited mobility or travelling with children who want to return to their room, or for those wanting a cuppa in their jammies in the morning without leaving their room. The room was cold on arrival and a portable heater was provided immediately for us to use during our stay. No hot water in the hand basin. With a few tweaks Rambler Inn would be a great place to stay.

Stayed here for one night during a visit to the north coast. It was clean and for the price was all around great. Would stay here again next time I am up that direction

Excellent budget hotel with good service! It was clean, tidy and breakfast was nice. It was slightly cold and could use somewhere to sit when not in your room. All in all decent value for money.

No heating was turned on during our stay!

Pleasant greeting, clean enough and comfortable beds. Very close to the Main Street, beach and places to eat. NO HEATING was turned on during our stay. We only stayed 1 night for NYE so a cold time of year. We had 2 rooms on different floors with large radiators in both. No option for turning heating on ourselves. A couple in the adjacent room said they have stayed 3 nights and the heating has never been on, they actually bought a heater for the room. Offered no cooked breakfast which was disappointing after a cold nights sleep. I struggled to sleep due to noise, although was NYE. WiFi signal kept coming and going. Wouldn’t stay again.
