"Lovely views of Loch Awe. The driver wasn’t so happy about the long single track road but the other two enjoyed the solitude and quiet at the end of the road. Rooms are comfortable and all different."
"What a treat to stay at this hotel! Sitting in the indoor hot tub with the views across the loch was magical and something I won’t forget. The spa was immaculate and a real treat after a long day of driving.
Rooms were beautifully decorated, staff were friendly, and it is a very dog friendly hotel. 10/10"
"This hotel has no person on site. There is a lock box and you will get an email with instructions. I had to phone when I did not get an email ( probably because of a new email address); House was very quiet. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a lake view. But the bathroom trash was not emptied from previous guests and there was a used sanitary napkin there. Also the blanket in the closet was in a jumble making me think it had been used but not cleaned or folded. It made me uncomfortable...
"The property was very clean but very warm! Aircon would be beneficial especially with not being able to open doors/windows without risking midges joining you for the night!! Bed was very soft and bed sofa not overly comfortable but ideal place to stay for a few nights. Great being so dog friendly, having the restaurant on site (though quite pricey!) and the station being so close giving access to Oban and Stirling. Fabulous views over the loch too!"
"This is a really special place. The new owner was very friendly and the restaurant was quite an experience. The bar was mixed with tourists and locals. I don’t think I’ll ever forget my night there. Very unique spot. Worth the price!"
