Cute short stay
My husband and I stayed here for one night while exploring Newport. Great price and just a quick 20 minute drive from everything in Newport. Quiet and everything you need for a short stay. Highly recommend!

Great weekend away
My wife and I had a great getaway weekend. The vrbo location was close to the water and local attractions. I was happy with how clean and organized the place was, spacious layout with a nice small deck to enjoy the sunset + take in the R.I breeze.

The location was very good for our travel needs. The outside of their house was adorable. The bed was comfortable, and there was a little balcony outside to sit on. However, the door to the balcony did not lock. There could have been more attention to detail which would have caused us to rate it higher. More towels for, example would have been nice. Hangers in the closet. It met our needs just lacked that cozy feeling.

Everything You Need!
Perfect spot with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed getting to know Portsmouth better and loved being able to walk to the water, restaurants and still close enough to Newport for a wedding too. Clean, private and comfortable! We enjoyed the kids lemonade and cookie stand outside as well.

The Berman's have a wonderful, hotel quality room in a separate wing of their home. A block from the bay, and from places you can meet and visit with real New Englanders. An absolute gem. Portsmouth is gorgeous... Like going back in time.

Great little place for a getaway!! Room was very clean & stocked w/the necessities. Had off street parking, very pretty & quiet neighborhood. Beach w/in walking distance along w/many local restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay & look forward to booking again next year. Got to briefly meet one of the owners when we returned from the beach & he was very nice & asked how we were enjoying our stay & if we needed anything. Highly recommend this cute little place!!

Very nice private suite. Comfortable king size bed, little balcony, private entrance. AC wasn’t cooling properly and owner fixed it as soon as I told him about it. We really appreciated that! I would stay here again.

Pictures don't do the place justice, beautiful, clean, spacious, quiet. Super responsive and accomodating host, the Nespresso machine was a 100% bonus, they've got about everything covered you could ask for!!

Clean and cozy accommodation within walking distance of the water. Just a 20 minute drive to Newport, which has a large variety of dining and shopping options. The Cliffs Walk is not too far away either, and worth doing.

Very bright, clean and spacious room to stay during your time in Rhode Island. Convenient location, great for day trips spent exploring the East coast. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great spot near the beach
My husband and I enjoyed our short stay while we visited for a wedding. The suite had we everything needed. Convenient location close to the beach and the main highways. Definitely recommend Schultzy’s (within walking distance) for a lobster roll and clam strips!

Just a hop, skip and jump from the ocean
The property was the entire second floor of the host's home. Very comfy bed in a nice large room w/a spacious bathroom. Five minutes from a great restaurant. 15 Point Rd. Small, so you will need a reservation.

The room was very clean and location was ideal. They offered amenities and we’re very helpful with check in. When you first enter the house there is a curtain that separates your wing from the main house but there is a private stairwell and lock to the door of your room. I would stay again!

Just what we needed
My husband and I are traveling the east coast, this place was perfect and affordable. The beach was just down the street, so we brought our chairs and enjoyed the views. Newport is very close and we spent a day there enjoyed a morning cruise and shopping.

my husband and i stayed at the Berman's vrbo for two nights. private entrance, large bedrm king size comfy bed, balcony... lovely and clean accommodations.. couldn't have asked for more... everything we needed was at our fingertips... Shultzy's Snack Shack for clams and lobster, beach, short drive to the Thrive Coffee House (don't miss) Short drive to Newport (for a wedding) perfect..would luv to book again

Very nice but noisy!
we really liked our stay at this house. The accommodation was very nice and clean. The only negative thing was that it was noisy. When we arrived we were tired from travels and wanted to lay down for a bit and the dog was barking and growling and the kids were playing with it and it sounded like it was just outside our door however they were downstairs. There’s only a curtain and a non-soundproof door separating the upstairs Room from the family below So the sound travel dried up the non-carpeted stairs to our room. In the morning it was quieter except for the chickens which made a lot of noise when they were laying eggs. There coop was directly below the window. They didn’t make noise for a long time so I was able to get back to sleep but they were a few of them laying eggs! it was a nice location in a small neighborhood close to the beach. We never saw the owners but didn’t need to as there was a code to get in. I would return. There’s a little coffee bar set up but not much by way of fixings for it. We did find a lovely coffeehouse not far away however.

Great location and clean space
We had a very quick stay (wish it was longer) on our way home from vacation. Love the neighborhood and proximity to restaurants, coffee shops and of course the waterfront. The owners were so welcoming and kind and take great care of the property. Portsmouth is great spot to rest and grab some local coffee and enjoy the view.
