First time visiting Skye met Andy and brian who are very interesting telling us about their travels , great hosts and very attentive their home is lovely, room is very comfortable food was great nothing was a bother for them wee landed very lucky with the weather definitely best weather to see Skye at is best glorious island Thankyou guys for making our visit had a great holiday

Amazing!!!

I am so late in posting this, but my husband and I came to Vatersay House for our honeymoon in July and it was the most wonderful experience! We loved our incredible hosts and all the time and effort they put in to make us comfortable. We could not get over the view and how much Vatersay House felt like home. We were so blessed with such a wonderful experience that made our honeymoon even more special. Thank you, Vatersay House! We love your cookbook!!

Cozy room with hearty breakfast

The hosts are very hospitable and nice. We'd had a great time chatting and they have made the room cozy and comfortable, and bathroom is clean with full bath kit. On top of that, their breakfast is amazing with so many different choices. Thank you for giving us a nice staying experience on the isle of skye.

Lush countryside

The hotel is placed in country surrounds. Sheep and lambs grazing across the road. Not to mention the lush hills. The hotel was spotless. Tastefully decorated. Immaculately clean. Very helpful owners. Best breakfast in U.K. Almost all home made and delicious.

A little tough to find, but well worth the effort

It was a little bit of a challenge finding the Vatersay House. It is closer to Uig than it is to Portree and it doesn't have an address that my GPS can find easily. But it was well worth the hunt. Brian and Andy run the place and could not be more welcoming or helpful with tips about good places to see and to eat. They helped make our stay on Skye much more enjoyable. Andy cooks a delicious breakfast and knows a lot about the Island. Brian greets us on our return from the day with an offer of tea. The room upstairs is comfortable and clean. We were also offered the use of the sitting room downstairs. The setting around the home was quiet and bucolic. The location turned out to be perfect for us as we were next taking the ferry from Uig to Tarbert on the Isle of Harris and Lewis. Uig was just 10 minutes away. The Vatersay House is definitely a place we hope to return whenever we get back to Skye.

Exceptional B&B

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Exceptional comfort and cleanliness. Hosts went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.
