"Stunning renovation of a heritage property. Staff take pride in making sure everything is clean and in good condition. Staff are all courteous and always ready to help. Breakfast was as expected in a good hotel, but if you have other preferences you must order from the menu. A great hotel all around! "

"I loved my stay at Hotel Laurin. The room was great, very clean and the balcony was a massive plus. The pool area was excellent, for the time of year the number of sun loungers was plenty, and the view over the coast was perfect. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of hot & cold, and sweet & savoury. The staff were all brilliant, welcoming and helpful. And the area was close to all restaurants and shops, as well as the boat to Portofino and the train to all the popular spots on the coast as well as the smaller villages. Santa Margherita itself is the perfect base for the area, with a calmer feel than some of the more intense tourist areas, whilst still having enough of a buzz to not feel too quiet. "Hotel is in a brilliant location . Fantastic views . We did hire a car , but not needed. Everything within walking distance and a regular bus & boat services to other parts of the area .Secure valet parking €40 per day . Hotel a little tired looking in parts but very clean . Hotel staff were fantastic , really took good care of us & made our trip very special . We would highly recommend ."
