This was a great place for my wife and I on our honeymoon. It was very special to be in the middle of the square. My only complaint was that the neighbors above were a bit noisy, but it didn’t inhibit our enjoyment. Note that there is no AC and no elevator to the room, but this was not a problem for us.

Beware

Horrible stay. The property owner says to no leave any food or drink out in their instructions. There is a reason for this…a major ant infestation. We followed the request, not knowing why, we didn’t have any food or drink but here came the ants anyway. Covering our clothing and bags. We nearly slept in the car the second night because of the heat and ants. No AC and you can’t leave the window open for a breeze or the mosquitoes will carry you away. I’m stunned Hotels.com would allow this property to be advertised on their website. This is my first bad review to leave but Portifino is to beautiful to ruin your stay at this apartment.
