Loved our stay! The hotel is clean, the food is really good, and the staff is amazing. It’s not fancy, but very cozy and comfortable. The fishing activities were fun and perfect for the whole family. We visited as a family of four with a 7-year-old and a teenager, and everyone had a great time. Special thanks to Lucy, Armando, Batman, and Ileana for their kindness and for making us feel so welcome. We truly enjoyed every moment!

The place is really run down. Doesn’t look like they are repairing anything. The food at the restaurant is good but do not always have everything on the menu. The room we initially got was super small and the toilet was broken, didn’t get a good flush. They did upgrade us to a bigger room but the toilet was running all night. There was also water coming through the floor.

Great place to stay in Portobelo! Lovely terrace to sit out in overlooking the sea. Room very comfortable..Above all, the staff are first class! Manager George was super helpful! All the staff wete great! Also ..the food was wonderful...best breakfast we had in Panama. Definitely would recommend this place to stay!

Beautiful spot in Portobelo!

Clean beautiful room overlooking the bay. Towels and sheets were clean and comfortable. A small kitchen provided everything we needed. We loved the hammock! Staff was excellent and answered all of my questions ahead of time and made sure we could find parking from the main road. Thank you!

Lovely chilled place

Really lovely view from our room. We just had the basic room but it was perfect for us. Aircon! A basic but well prepared breakfast was included. Had a stingray cruising in front of our outside space for a few hours which was great.

The person who checked us in was very cordial and professional. We loved the art gallery, lunch, dinner and the karaoke. A very relaxing place by the sea. The only issue is some other guests that stayed up late talking and listening to music a bit louder than it should have been The manager was very quick to explain to them that there were other guests so they turned down the music. The room was quite nice, spacious and very clean. We will definitely return!

A Day in Paradise

I travel to Panama often and every time a stay in Portobelo is a must on my trip! This beautiful historical village, located on the Caribbean seashore is just a couple of hours away from Panama City, is a perfect getaway to nature and peace! I stay in Casa Congo every time when I go there! Great comfortable rooms, beautifully decorated with the works of the local artists, and an amazing view of the bay when you wake up! A picture 1000 words cannot describe! Friendly and efficient team with great hospitality and a great seafood restaurant with the best Puplpo I ate. A beautiful gallery on the ground floor presents local artists work. This time we were 3 people to celebrate our birthday so we booked the apartment in the other building - Casa Rayo Verde! Fully equipped and simply great! Highly recommended!
