Our flight got stranded on Porto Santo so we paid a high price for a last minute stay. Limited taxis from airport so we walked with suitcases. Not recommended but is possible. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and it was all inclusive so able to eat after a long day of no food. We had to leave early in morning to get our flight so unable to fully experience this resort. We had a quick trip to beach beyond hotel and looked like a sandy cove. There was nothing screaming at me to come back here

This was an oasis for us after a rough four days. The staff works very hard, but not as effectively as they could. IT could be that we were there during the busiest week of the year for them, so keep that in mind. That said, check-in and check-out both took a long time - at least 30-45 minutes, coming and going. Getting a drink at the bar took time - just too much demand, not enough staff. This is a delightful place to go with a family - they especially seem to look after younger kids. The pools are amazing. We did not have the time we would have liked to enjoy the beach. For adults - the spa area, with sauna, steam room, tepidarium, and the pool was a delightful experience. Restaurants and main dining were decent.

Property is old and poorly maintained. The food service is terrible. The main restaurant is extremly small for all the people in the resort, so everybody is always on top of each other to try to get to the food. The birds and pidgeons walk over the food trays...just awful... You can only try one of theme restaurants and the one we tried was on the side of the main property and next to another hotel which seems to be abandoned. The building of the restaurant is also old and poorly maintained, with very limited food options. On top of all this, when we got there and went to sleep in the first night, the bed and the wall behind the bed was full with ants and other small bugs. We asked to solve this and the staff actually solved our problem quickly by changing us to another room which was much better maintained and clean. The only reason I don't rate this with only 1 star is because the staff is actually competentent. Bottom line, the value that is paid doesn't match what you get. Never staying there again

I had a horrible eye allergy because of the cleaning agent and-or detergent. Swollen, tearing. I had no further room cleanings done after we arrived, but it did not get better. Will never come back.

Stayed here before during Covid it was a 4 star then and that’s what it should be definitely not a 5 star. Had dinner at Madeira Love and being half way through my starter the waitress brought out the main courses obviously I sent them back and it was very apparent that the staff didn’t like that

We had an incredible time. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was very diverse with many options and delicious. I loved their grill. The beach is wonderful for walking along the shore. The pools are very beautiful. The colors of green and light blue and yellow houses... loved it. It has entertainment every day with the most lovely staff. Service was incredible. All in all wonderful.

Das Hotel bietet keinen 5 Stern Service. In den Zimmer sind die Möbel kaputt oder dreckig. Das Bett sehr unbequem, man spührt jede Federung auf der Matratze. Es hat Schimmel im Bad an den Fugen.

Die Anlage ist ganz schön. Zum Frühstück noch Essenreste auf dem Stuhl und auf dem Boden zu sehen fand ich nicht gut. Das Zimmer war total abgeranzt. Zum Beispiel Rost im Kühlschrank, Möbel abgestoßen.

Ich denke das schönste Hotel auf der Insel. Sehr schöne, weitläufige und gepflegte Hotelanlage. Das Essen war ok, man hatte auch die Möglichkeit in Themenrestaurants zu essen, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Zu jeder Tageszeit die Möglichkeit etwas zu essen oder zu trinken. Bilderbuchhafter Strand, tolle Insel, sehr nettes, höfliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub.

Marta, la ceo, se ha portado más que bien cuando el ferri anuló nuestro tránsito al puerto, excelente trato y empatía, no sé que hubiéramos hecho sin su ayuda, ideas y opciones. De verdad que en estos momentos ves lo importante que es estar en un buen hotel

El hotel estaba muy bien, amplio aunque nunca había amacas disponibles ni en la piscina ni en la playa. El trato general del personal correcto y amable. Lo peor de todo para ser un cinco estrellas y cobrar el dineral que cobran, las bebidas malísimas de muy bajo nivel y en buffet corto escaso, repetitivo, ponían lo mismo todos los días comida y cena y malísima calidad. Varios días comimos fuera por este motivo aún teniendo pagada la comida. no recomendable no repetiría
