"Budget hotel so dont expect luxury you get what you pay for, which satisfied me. I loved the hotel & location just a few minutes walk to the lake & beautiful peaceful town & an easy drive to lugano & beyond not forgetting Campione d Italia. The staff were fantastic & work hard & are friendly, parking is safe & there is plenty of space, breakfast is limited but adequate & nice, we was given a lovely jar of homemade kiwi jam on checkout which was a nice touch,i didn't want to leave it's so relaxing & in the town too, will definitely be back it's just a shame it's a while till summer comes around again or I'd be back very soon,loved it."

"This is a lovely, well run hotel in a spectacular location overlooking the Lake. The rooms were very comfortable and modern with Tea and coffee making facilities. We booked the Lake view room with a balcony and it was really special to wake up in the morning, pull back the curtains to that great view. We stayed 3 nights and ate in the hotel restaurant each night as the food was so good. The Pizzas are amazing and huge,I tried, but no way could I eat it all. There is a lovely rooftop terrace with amazing views and a swimming pool, but unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us so we did not get to use them. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. The one thing that stands out is that the hotel is located up at the top of a very steep hill and it is not for the faint hearted to drive up the narrow road with switchback bends and very steep gradients. Parking is limited and the spaces very small and narrow so you have to park carefully between the lines, not great if you are of a larger frame, it could pose a challenge getting in and out of your vehicle unless it is a small one. However, none of this should put you off in any way, just passing on our experience. We had a lovely stay here and I would very highly recommend it as a spectacular base to tour the Lakes as we did. Thank you Hotel Stampa, we will return."

"Brand new B&B in a small mountain town. Excellent facility - extremely clean and organized. Check-in was a breeze. Outside deck area for breakfast in the morning was perfect. A brother and sister own the place together and they are very accommodating and helpful. The town is very small (the road directly in front of the B&B is two way, but really only fits one car at a time so it is a bit of a challenge) but is well located to visit Lake Como or Lugano close by,"

"The room was clean but under the bed was very dusty. A handle fell off the door to the balcony. Reported this to reception and it was repaired the same day. Two lights not working in the bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Level of English good when required. Air conditioning excellent. Parking good. Free in the sun. We paid for underground secutr parking. Good breakfast buffet."
