Open the door and enter a large, high ceilinged, energy efficient, charming home with wonderful water views of the islands, boats and town dock from every window. In the late spring, summer and early fall there is a large ramp and dock in front of the house for your sitting and swimming pleasure. The house has three stories, fireplace, five big bedrooms plus one small bedroom and a den with fold out couch. There is a large deck, open living-dining-cooking area, gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, two ovens, front load washer-dryer in pantry plus extra ones on lower level, Viking six-burner stove top, lots of closets, radiant heat on lower level.

Perfect spot!

What a wonderful place to be with 3 generations for a week of family fun. We loved the various gathering places and bedrooms , the views and outdoor spaces were perfect for meals and boating, and I still can’t get over the fabulous kitchen. It was truly a home away from home! ☀️

The house is situated on the river with amazing views. It’s spacious and comfortable for the 6 of us and could have easily accommodated more. Well appointed kitchen and comfy beds- perfect for our annual getaway.

What started out as a retirement celebration has now turned into a yearly tradition. We had another fabulous getaway…perfect home for us. Kitchen so well equipped, bedrooms so comfortable. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. We love waking up to the view out on the river. Thank you!

Beautiful South Freeport Home

The home was wonderful, quiet location, beautiful views, plentiful parking, great sleeping arrangements. Minor issueswith dining room chairs needing some repair and in need of a little better cleaning (e.g., dusting, sweeping under beds and dressers). But still a perfect rental for our group of 12.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location!

The home is very high quality, well designed and very spacious for our group of 5 couples. Our stay included an ice storm where the area lost power, however to our surprise the home had a whole house generator, so only lost power for maybe 5 seconds. Beautiful view! Looking forward to renting again in December!

Family Trip from Wisconsin

We enjoyed the property very much. Great location and space for all. Phone service is very spotty but WiFi was great. I would suggest putting shades on the doors in the basement just for privacy purposes. We also had a lot of mold in the basement shower, which we took care of but you should make your cleaning crew aware of. We would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous home and location!!

This is the most gorgeous, family friendly home and in such a beautiful location!!!! We want to live here. We brought 4 kids for a dog sledding trip. House feels remote but is close to town. The main town of Freeport is just a few min away - nice restaurants and shopping (LL Bean flagship store). It was very cold while here and snowed 12 inches but the home was always warm. Very well stocked kitchen. On the water with spectacular views. We can’t wait to come back!! LOVE IT!!

Perfect

First time using Vrbo. It was everything our group was looking for in a rental. Throughout our stay everyone repeatedly commented on how it was the perfect house. Plenty of space for us to enjoy it as a group or to peel off for some "alone" time. And loved the bookcases! I would definitely recommend this rental.

Great location and thoughtful touches

Our group of friends stayed two nights for a girls weekend. The property was very convenient to Freeport with lovely views of the water. The house had plenty of storage, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and full baths on each floor. Small things, like the location of plugs near bedside tables, made the stay smooth and comfortable. Great for groups.

Family Vacation

Wonderful house on the water with perfect distance either to Portland and south, local to the outlets, or north to the many choices including Harpswell, Booth Bay Harbor or Camden and Acadia and the many stops between. House is magnificent. Ample room for all sleeping, nice, large bathrooms / towels, awesome kitchen, and the huge great room that sprawled onto the deck overlooking the water was fantastic. Wonderful

Spectacular waterfront getaway

This spacious and welcoming home provided the perfect base camp during a weekend of family wedding activities. The owner was very accommodating when we needed to add a day. Plenty of room for family to be together, and options for quiet time, whether in the house with the well stocked library or on the dock down by the water. Convenient to Freeport, there's a great gourmet market and coffee shop just a mile away. Sunrise over water was amazing. Highly recommend.

Great house and location

We are six women who stayed in this lovely house for seven nights. We chose this place because we decided we wanted our own bedroom. The view of the bay was wonderful and at night we were able to see the bioluminescence along the shore from the deck. The location was ideal as we were close to Portland for tours and shopping. We also enjoyed going into Freeport for the outlet shopping. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. Some of the ladies were wishing for a full-length mirror and shades that would close all the way down, but those were minor issues. Overall, we were very happy staying there and enjoying everything Maine has to offer.
