The space
- Newly renovated 1880 historic home with modern style and amenities, making it an ideal spot for couples, friends, and families visiting Portland.

- Bright kitchen with large island, quartz countertops, modern appliances, including an electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils.

- We take our coffee seriously. Coffee available via Keurig or Chemix. Our favorite coffee shop is less than a 5 min walk!

- Spacious and sunny living room with attached dining area & large dining table.

- Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon, etc.

- Tranquil bathroom with luxurious tub, rain shower, and slate tile floors. Turkish cotton towels and environmentally friendly soaps, shampoo, and conditioner.

- 2 Bedrooms, each with a Queen size bed. Organic mattresses by Avocado. We focus on sustainable and plush comfort using natural fibers including cotton, linen, and wool. Sound machines are available in each bedroom.

- Comfortable work station, inclusive of desk and chair for those looking to get away while still having to work. Internet is reliable and fast.

- Minutes to local restaurants, cafes, breweries/distilleries, grocery stores, including Whole Foods, running/biking trails, Eastern Promenade, East End Beach, and the Old Port. Being in the heart of Portland, we do experience some city noise.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the bottom unit of the house. Owners live in the upstairs unit of the house.

Parking:
We offer parking for one vehicle on the property. If you have more than one car, no worries—there is plenty of street parking available nearby. Just let us know if you need any guidance!

After living in cities across the US, we are proud to call Portland home because we love the creative community, natural beauty, and outdoor lifestyle this city offers. We took great care in renovating our historic late 1800s home to create a welcoming and peaceful place, centered around healthy living, sustainability, modern design, and coastal comfort. We’re so excited to welcome you to our home and invite you to experience this special place that we call Peninsula House.

Guest Policy:
To maintain the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of our home, we welcome up to 4 guests total—including little ones. If you plan to have more than 4 guests at any time during your stay, please reach out in advance. Additional guests must be approved ahead of time and may incur an added guest fee. While we love animals, we do not allow pets at the Peninsula House. We appreciate your understanding and care in helping us create a comfortable and welcoming space for everyone.
