The house worked great for our group of 7 as we attended the Heart concert at the MODA Center. The location is awesome with many different bars & restaurants easily with in walking distance.
Exceptional listing. Perfect for our mini family gathering. 4 comfortable bedrooms with plenty of space to cook, relax and spend time with family. Close to plenty of good restaurants and convenient to airport and downtown
While I was worried about the appearance of the house from the outside, the inside was spectacular. Clearly remodeled with many of the modern amenities such as A/C. We had lots of space to work with and we had a very successful gathering and everyone was impressed with the space!!!
The house was clean and comfortable. There definitely could have been more blankets available to make up the futon and the kitchen wasn't quite stocked enough for our needs.
The location with it's proximity to Portland, but also in a neighborhood with a park at the end of the block was absolutely perfect for our 2 families with 5 kids.
The house worked wonderfully for our family of 5. We enjoyed the living spaces and the area had lots to explore. It was great to be able to walk almost everywhere. Downtown Portland is also very close and easy to get to. I reached out to the host with a couple of small details, and got almost immediate responses and everything was resolved beyond my expectations. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting Portland.
It was a wonderful house that worked so well for our weekend getaway! It was very homey and the kids loved playing all the board games provided! It fit all of us comfortably, us being two adults and five kids, and not being in each other's hair while we were there was very nice.
Nice property. Safe neighborhood. Great playground around the corner that our kids had fun at. Parking a night was a little challenging. There is plenty of parking but you might have to walk a block or so. No laundry machines in this property, which we didn't realize when we booked it. We have four kids so we are doing laundry every day. Others may not care.
We were happy to find a home in such a great location for eight adults. Needs a few more supplies for a large group, and a bit of attention to some details. Great responses from the host! Walk to the park, fabulous gelato and restaurants. Just a note to keep in mind: bathrooms must be accessed through a bedroom, so make sure you are all comfortable with each other!
Property is as-advertised! Our work group had a great stay here. Close to everything. House is in great shape.

Great location, house was mid
House had a good kitchen and living space and plenty of bedrooms but bathroom layout was tricky with a big group, you have to go through a bedroom to get to either bathroom. The house was not well cleaned. Grime on the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms and in the shower. Moldy dish sponge under the sink. The house had a bunch of condescending notes all over the house in cute little frames which felt very unwelcoming. Neighborhood is amazing and locations was great, but I would look for a different rental in the same area.
Our recent stay at this property was very substandard. The home had trash beneath beds and the claw foot bathtub. The smoke alarm was alerting low battery when we arrived, causing a trip to the store to buy batteries, climb on a dining room chair and install them. I texted the owner who did not respond until the next day, asking me if it would be possible to just take the batteries out. That is against VRBO owners’ rules, and a safety violation. The home was inadequately stocked, and had numerous other cleanliness and safety issues. Hardly the “lush paradise” that as advertised. I sent the owner a detailed description and photos of the issues, asking for a portion of our rent to be refunded, and he responded, by name calling, rudeness and refusal.

We ended our stay after just one night of a planned three-night booking due to multiple unresolved issues that made the experience uncomfortable:The upstairs shower never got hot.The towels were damp and didn’t feel clean. No basic toiletries (soap, shampoo) were provided in the downstairs bathroom. The tub plug was hidden on a windowsill behind the shower curtain with no instructions—making it unusable until we happened to find it.Parking was more difficult than suggested in the listing and pre-arrival messages.Thomas, our contact, was friendly in tone but unresponsive in practice. When we raised these concerns, the only real-time solution offered was to “look into” the hot water issue. The next morning, he told us the towels were out of character for the cleaner and that he’d speak with her. He also mentioned that in emergencies like this, we would have been granted access to the laundry room to dry them—but that wasn't communicated until after the fact.Despite leaving early, we were charged the full 1,600 for the three-night stay. We’ve had many positive VRBO experiences—this one fell short, both in comfort and in follow-through.
My family and I stayed here for four days. The neighborhood is cute and walkable, with great restaurants, grocery stores, and shops within 10 min on foot. There is a great park literally across the street. We arrived during a heat wave, and the individual AC in each room came in extremely clutch. There is ample storage in each bedroom and the beds are generously sized. The bathrooms are all attached to the bedrooms, and don't open to common spaces, but for a family, I don't think that's a deal-breaker. The water pressure was pretty soft, but it got the job done. There isn't a tankless water heater, so short showers are requested by the owner. This would be a nice future upgrade, in my opinion. One glaring issue has to do with the City of Portland trash collection schedule. The owner advised that they are requesting extra trash cans for the property, but currently the size of the cans is inadequate for both long-term tenants and paying guests (Long term renters are required by city ordinance to operate short-term rentals to help offset the housing shortage). The city only collects trash every other week, and when we arrived the cans were already full. Add hungry crows, and you get trash all over the front yard. We had to clean it up, which I think is unacceptable as a paying guest. We did register a complaint with the owner, so hopefully this experience doesn't repeat in the future. But this is why cleanliness only gets a 2/5 for me. The rest of the house is clean.
