Excellent value, wonderful staff, and the hotel is incredibly convenient to multiple transportation options. Unfortunately, there are two downsides from my perspective: WiFi at this hotel is unencrypted; and, the hotel does not allow you to pay for anything at the hotel using cash. Otherwise, a fabulous stay! Staff was extremely helpful with local restaurant recommendations as well as transportation options. I will definitely consider staying there again. Price point delivers high customer value, and it's only a few blocks away from the Screendoor restaurant! Once you eat there, you'll have reason to visit Portland again and again! Dr. Bob

My first review of a hotel is always how kind and helpful the front desk is and the comfort of the bed. Both were excellent! The restaurant and bar is small but has the best food and drinks that I have had in this area of hotels. Very clean hotel and doesn't have that motel smell that alot of hotels have. I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here! I loved being downtown and easily walk or use public transportation to the places I wanted to go. The front desk staff are nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and I loved the amenities and loved the tv and king size bed. I would stay here again for sure!

While I was excited to come to Portland for the first time to my son’s company event. I found myself greeted by nice staff but moments later rolling my sheets back to find blood stains on the inner layer of sheets on my beds (avoid the 13th floor) and I called front desk and was switched the same night. Next morning, as I got out the shower I noticed water was leaking from the back shower corner to the bedroom (room 1412) and formed a puddle near my suitcase. Once again I called the front desk and they sent up engineering, he confirmed there was missing caulk in the bottom corner and my third room would be ready by time I got back from breakfast with my son. After breakfast, I came back to find the puddle still there (three hours later) but my third room would be next door. Even after all this, no one at the front desk was apologetic or anything. The event and main reason why I came to Portland was great but next time I wished I would have read more reviews or chose a different place.

The gentleman who check us in was exceptionally good amazing. He gave us a free upgrade for my husband bday. The suite was good although it’s missing lotion, the mirror by the entry door was not cleaned and same mirror in the bathroom. The room was not cleaned good. The room does not come with coffee maker and no exhausted fan in the bathroom.

Staff is super kind and friendly. The hotel was cool and the room was small yet was very nice. Solid breakfast and Happy Hour. The hotel smelled amazing in the common areas and they played the coolest, Gen X (holla!) music like the Smiths, Erasure, Yaz, the Cure, etc.

The hotel in general was good. My room was like in remodeling. The floor was concrete with a carpet and the ceiling was not finished. I had to use a public parking lot across the street paying $35 per day. The hotel deposit was $75 per night. I had two breakfasts in the restaurant and the food and services were good. However, there are many options to eat around the area. Location was the most positive aspect.

Great decor and vibe. Near a cool vintage t-shirt shop, and a middle eastern food place, forget the name. I was outside in the middle of the night and there was nobody around anywhere. Nice and quiet and safe. And great food available 24-7 in the lobby. Highly recommend!

All the staff were friendly and greeted us whenever we walked by. The bartender Zach did a great job and the rooms were great. We could walked to a variety of different places.
