The house was very clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and walkable to parks, restaurants, and shops.

Prompt response from owner. Victorian house with single off street parking space & concrete front stairs. Space small as shown in pictures. Plenty of towels & kitchen supplies. Construction on Cesar Chavez & very narrow side streets with parking on both sides, made driving a little tricky. Very convenient location.
My mom, sister and I had a great stay! Check in and out was easy and the house was excellent. It’s very close to lots of food and coffee options. The surrounding neighborhood is great for walking. The only reason this place didn’t get a 5 star review was the bathroom. Unfortunately, the shower doesn’t have a door and there was only one small bath mat to try to soak up lots of water spray. Other than that, it was great!
Myself, my wife and our small dog stayed for 3 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The house was clean and well furnished with fairly new appliances and plumbing/electric fixtures. At the time we stayed, the trees outside the front window were in full bloom, making for a nice view from the living room. Morning and evening dog walks around the neighborhood were pleasant and we never needed to cross or walk on any busy roads. We did no cooking other than coffee and did not use the back yard so can't speak to that. The neighbors and neighborhood were quiet and unintrusive. Unlike some places we've stayed, we didn't feel like we were living in someone's house while they were away. Rather the house felt like it was totally dedicated to guests which, for us, is nicer. Some small suggestions for improvement would be 1) a Bluetooth soundbar on the TV so we could stream music while having coffee/dinner etc. 2) fix a few loud creaks in the floors 3) set up the backyard furniture for use (we had a spell of nice weather in mid-April) so sitting outside would have been nice, but everything was put away, presumably for winter.
The host was attentive, the exit instructions were easy.

Great Portland Stay
We loved staying at this cute house in the Hawthorne district of Portland. It was well maintained and was in a quiet location. We liked how well stocked it was with basic everyday needs. It felt like a home away from home.

Great House
We stayed at this house for a family trip to Portland in October. The house was cozy, well kept and everything we needed. The kids loved the foosball table. The location is great. It was a short walk to restaurants, grocery stores, and Mt. Tabor park. Would stay here again!
Cute bungalow in a great location. Great kitchen and patio for our famiky to come over to dinner, or walk to eateries close by. Nice to also be able to bring our our dog with us. Host are very responsive.
This is a super cute house in a nice quiet area. Nice aesthetic to the house too. Thank you kindly for the stay. Giving 5 stars to honor their deserved rating, but calling out a few things for other renters. Lighting outside is poor at night. There's only a porch light which doesn't help illuminate the yard or driveway. Can be tricky when running things in, in the evening. We didn't read the fine print about the 10am check out, which thankfully we were able to get a little leeway on. IMO 10am is too early and especially harsh in the winter. Hosts have very simple check out instructions which is nice, but I'd rather do some of the clean up to help push check out to 11am. We ran out of toilet paper by the last morning because 2.5 rolls for three gals over four nights just wasn't enough. Come prepared ;)

The bathroom needs urgent attention. The shower has a very dangerous corner almost in front ot the toilet. The shower head was broken and water slashed out all over the floor. The sink is also loosing water!I immediately notified the administrator there was no mope at the property so I could dry up the bathroom EACH time it was used, to prevent a fall. After making me go TWICE to a horribly humid and fungus covered basement with very steep stair-steps (they KNEW we are disable) I had to wait for 3 days for the manager to send me the mop. It was a HEADACHE.The property was advertised as having a washer and drier on the basement. What they did not tell you is that the basement is in NO CONDITION to be visited. So, it was like not having it AT ALL! We were forced to by underwear.I also need to say that the TV and the internet it uses ARE A JOKE! It remembered me the way dial up connection used to be 25 years ago. It took forever to have a Netflix page to open.I would not minded to pay what I did, if the property (it needs urgent love and care) was as described. But with its actual conditions, I was OVERCHARGED. I mean that I would have not consider renting it at that price and would have opted for another place.
