Today, thanks to a massive effort to re-populate the species via in-captivity pairing, there are some two-hundred members. But their recovery is far from assured. The Oregon Zoo has undertaken its own recovery effort whose ultimate goal is the re-introduction of the species into the protected wilderness area around the Columbia River Gorge. If you have never seen one up close before, I urge you to come take a look. They are larger than any flying bird you will ever see, unless you go to Peru. If that doesn't suit your fancy, I will tell you that, as with all big birds, if you wait around long enough, they will do something so awe-inspiring that it will take your breath away, and something so goofy that you will laugh out loud. The condo is in a great location. Communication with the host was prompt and he was very accommodating. The pool is not open year around which would have been good to know before we got there. We would rent again.

This condo was perfect for two adults. Balcony overlooks a beautiful treed space. Great location with easy access to everything in Lake Oswego. Close by to on/off I-5 freeway access. Comfortable king bed in the loft. Huge breakfast bar in kitchen. Very big tv screen with many streaming options. Excellent, quick communication with Joe, the property owner/manager. Easy, fast, secure checkin. Will definitely return when visiting friends in Lake Oswego.

We had a wonderful stay in this one bedroom loft condo in Mountain Park. The location of the condo is ideal - easy to get to restaurants, activities, downtown, and Portland area. The unit was as pictured. Very comfortable and functional with 1 1/2 baths and a washer/dryer. Great place for two people to stay.
